Yes! When I sold cars some of my managers acted more like pimps than managers.

I like Robbiefs' answer. Don't work for a company that makes you feel that way.

I once changed jobs because I was going to get 2 dollars more an hour. I was so unhappy there, I called my old boss and asked him to keep me in mind if the new girl did not work out. He asked me why did I quit in the first place. I told him, he said why didn't you tell me, I'll give you that and he hired me back. Money is not always going to make you happy at a job that makes you sad or a job where you are being mistreated. Old cliche, but so very true; life IS too short to be unhappy.
Get more education and do what you REALLY want to and love to do. I'm 56 y/o now and I really do wish I would have done more of what I loved in life. I became disabled and now it's too late. Don't go to the bathroom and cry!! Make a good plan of what you REALLY want to do in life and DO IT.
I told my kids; 38 &36, your going to have to work anyway, you might as well get paid well for it. AND, time is going to go by whether you see it or not. You might as well be doing something with that also, like getting educated in the area or field of a career that you love. Bless You. Bless us ALL.

God yes! It's the best place to cry. The worst place is at your desk or station. Better yet to go to another floor or bathroom location if possible, so all the nosey people won't ask, "what's the matter?" Sometimes I just need to get it out so I can deal with whatever it is that's going on that makes me feel like crying.

Then after the tears, I feel better. Cold rags help the puffy eyes. Then a sip of cold water to restore you...

Hugs.

Nope and I wouldn't do a job that would make me feel that way either. Just walk out of there and find a better job that makes you happy. Don't settle for second best.

Sometimes. But mostly I just whimper softly at my desk...while gently sobbing into my coffee. Chicks dig it!

Not right now, but I've had some hands-in-the-air moments this week.

Oh, never. I keep my emotions at home. Well, most of them anyway...
