I posted a question a while ago about double jeapardy which brought up new questionable aspects. I read up on it online and found this on wikipedia to be interesting.

"Double jeopardy is also not implicated for separate offenses or in separate jurisdictions arising from the same act."

The first question involved a case on a tv program called snapped in which a mother kills her daughters ex bf and is release on a technicality and then prosecuted by federal for the same crime.

I hear from people from the first question that they can do that if its not done by the same enity as the first judgement. but that still doesnt make sense. The constitutional law would supercede federal and state and would have to come in effect. She was tried for the same crime in the unitied states which adheres by the constitution even if by different entities of that same government which makes no sense. If the crimes were different like batter and racial crimes but it was the same exact crime.

I went to a friends house this week and my friends introduced me to this very cute girl. I got to talking with her and she was a great person and very smart and funny. After the night was over my friends told me that this girl wanted me to ask her out. Shortly after that my friend told me she was 18 years old. I am like 8 years older than this girl. Is it wrong for me to go out with her? Is it weird because she is just getting out of High School? The funny thing is she didn't even talk about being in school still. Plus I have only been going out with women my own age my entire life. Will it be weird to date a young lady?

I'm looking for a shotgun for my husband, preferably Remington or Mossberg. I want something in a 12 gauge with interchangeable chokes. He already has a Mossberg 500, but we cannot get the choke out. He would use the new one primarily for waterfowl (ducks, geese), but would like to be able to change the choke for turkey. I'm not looking to spend more than about $400. One that comes in a camo would be nice, but not necessary. Suggestions???

It was a show from about 6 years ago about 2 girls and one was Jewish but she went to a Catholic school. I think one of them was named Grace. Ellen Albertini Dow (the old lady from the Wedding Singer) played the grandma. WHAT WAS IT CALLED!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

I have an appointment for spaying my female cat tomorrow morning. However, I just got in from work and noticed she began a heat cycle just tonight. This is the third time she's on heat and I had scheduled this appointment for 2 weeks now. Is it safe for her to be spayed during heat? I am concerned for her safety and health more than anything. This is becoming a "hot" button issue with all the republican candidates and its not a "typical" carrot and stick tactic. This is real and very do-able and would be a far more tangible benefit to the citizens of the USA than the "health-care" or "baby fund" carrots that some politicians have to offer.

i have a older sister that is only 5 year older and she isn't the smartest but she boss me around so much i just want 2 hit her!! but she isn't even that smarter then me and my parents doesn't even care because they think i'm in less tm dumb which i'm not. i just can't wait till she gone off to collage in less then a year.

But i wonder if i can stand that long?
