Would it be advisable medically to pour a cup of tea into a writhing venomous snake bite? (Pls include clear references)

Would that be after you got bitten you would go home & make tea??? LOL. But seriously, a poisonous snake bit needs emergency medical care immediately. This is usually an ICU admit. If there is antivenom for that type of snake you will need it as soon as you can get it.

Hmm havent heard this one before. What I do know is you never want to let anyone drink caffeine that has been bitten by a venomous snake - caffeine is a stimulant, and will cause your heartrate to increase, thereby spreading the venom that much quicker through your system. So I am guessing, if you can't drink it, you shouldn't put it on the open wound either. (Tea = caffeine, if you haven't caught on to the point yet)

No. You need anti-venom.
