I am using the blu ray on a samsung 1080p 40" lcd I saw the same tv in best buy with blue ray and it looked like I could grab what was in the screen. But at my house it does not look any better than the samsung dvd upconverter.

A doctor started me on thyroid medication and something else that is an antidepressant. I actually started to feel better and now a friend I haven't seen for a long time shows up and starts mixing up margaritas and kamikazes. I don't want to sound ungrateful so I just keep drinking them. I skipped doses because of daily drinking of both medications and now feel really warped and screwed up. Like I said, don't want to sound like a jerk because he pays for them after all.

My boyfriend's boss keeps telling him that the business they work at is NOT loosing money, despite very poor net sales. They almost closed down a few years back, when sales were a lot better than what they are now. Is the boss just lying to my boyfriend so that he wont go looking for another job?
Anyone know if this is a common trick bosses do?

I got sick on sunday:( and i still feel terrible. I have an extremly sore throat, 101.4 fever, and im coughing like crazy. I took mucinex, nightquil, day quil.(not all at once) and nothing has made me feel better.
I only work friday, sat, sunday, monday. and i called in on monday. I work with children, and 6 other people, and i dont want to get anyone else sick. Especially the kids. My boss is very very..um...business oriented and i really think she is going to have a problem with me taking friday off too. Especially bc i am probably going to have to stay home over the weekend too. Its hurts so badly just to talk.

Do think i should stiffen up and tell my boss im sick? Or suck it up and go into work. any other options? any advice?

Ok..i met this guy in college and at the time he was dating this chick i had met back in middle school...they were together for 2 months until he left her for me. I at the time had a bf but i was rlly feeling that guy so i left my bf for him as well. ohmygoodness. Well I need some serious motivation here. I've missed about three weeks in total of school already and I just want to keep skipping. My work has not been best quality, I hand it in late, I have horrible study habits. I've never had such problems with school, but with high school I just dont care anymore. It really scares me, I do not want to fail and I realise I need to start picking things up.

Does anyone have any motivational tips/study tips anything to help me keep on top of my work?
As well as how many school days am I allowed to miss? Can I make up for it in second semester? Thanks everyone :)

Sort of a personal question, but I heard that getting pregnant from a man's pre-c** is very rare, but I also heard that the "pull-out" method is the worst type of birth control "method" out there.. and has a high chance of pregnancies. I am concered that I am pregnant now, but it would be because of the "pull-out" method. This (and a few other examples) appears to me to mean that there was a separation between God's mind and Jesus' mind. If God and Jesus are one being (Holy Spirit, one being in three parts all God) why would this separation occur?

My little brother has a speech problem. He's almost 11. Speech pathologists don't know what it is. He says "awh" "uh" and he tends to repeat his words alot, but not like stuttering. for example: "awh, mum? awh, awh, awh mum?..." he also sometimes says a sentence and repeats the last phrase 2 or three times really quietly. Yet whats weird is that he speaks fine when he reads out loud. Me and my mum and dad feel bad for him, and he doesnt even know he has a speech problem. How should my mother or i approach this?

So, in the eyes of the "church" or God or whatever, not getting married and having sex is a sin right? So let's say gay marriage passes legislature(which I hope will be soon) why is it still considered a sin if two gay ppl "wait" until marriage to have sex, as long as they are in wedlock and truly love each other? At least most gay/lesbian marriages are for love, not for money or any other greedy thing, like a lot of straight marriages are based off of.
My cousin just announced that she is going to be marrying her gf of 6 years...but she has to travel to some far away land to mae it happen because we're such a stupid, selfish courtry.
This makes me madder than hell. And more. What do you guys think?
