the first wife, vivian, was realy dark, and the episode im watching now,this woman is lighter?
is it the same woman? if not, what happened to the original?

Jean-Hubert-Whitten was the original actress to play that character. However, she started having problems with Will Smith and the producers and decided to leave after the end of season 3. She was offered a new contract but declined and left the show. Daphne Maxwell-Reed was then hired to replace her.

No it's not the same woman. I guess when Nicky was born it was during a season finale, when the new season started Vivian was being played by a different actress.

She left the show because when she recieved her new contract, she did not like the deal that they were giving her. They supposedly gave her a smaller budget.

she might have been changed for that episode cuz the original had to do something or w.e...you got a good eye
