Wow, this sounds so familiar. I was exactly like you in highschool. Though, I managed to pull good grades. Just don't give up. Go talk to the teachers, and say that you had personal problems and weren't able to attend the classes, but you don't want to discuss them. Ask them to help u catch up.
You can do it.

Well three weeks is not a big thing, and u can catch up….cause I know that u r just allow to miss 1 week of school a year that is if u have to……I say change your habits start taking high school seriously cause these makes or grades will go to your permanent record….and if u don’t have a good grade there will be no collage or university 4 u …and if u can not get a good job that pays good money….than I am sorry to say that u will miss a great future….talk to your teacher….get help….start reviewing and studying…..and everything will be easier….high school is not that difficult….its what u make it… and yes u can make up for it in the second semester...its ever to late...
u can do it….just believe in yourself….and start taking action…..good luck with it….

5th grade-----In March, 1999, field trip to The Science Museum, Natural History Museum and spent the night in an aquarium in Los Angeles, saw a 3D Imax movie. That was one of the best trips in my life--went with just kids and a couple adults. I really appreciate my teacher and school for doing that, even if it was just a field trip a long time ago. 1st year in College---wow, to me, way easier than high school and I took speech class which I loved--it gave me closure to how bad I did during my high school speech class --people thought I was kinda weird because of nervousness All over years were okay to sucking butt--- I was always the quietest one, the weird one, 2.7 GPA, never played sports, never ran for student body, endured some embarrassment in school, fell in love and dumped, didn't drive until this year at the age of 20. Now, is much smoother ;) Anything simple, or anything that shows that I've changed since, have been the greatest experiences I've had

The cops can get involved or even the state, i live in Arizona
and 3-5 weeks in the maximum, parents can go to jail, and get finds. Skipping school is not a very good thing to miss more than 5 days of.

i think every school system has a different amount of days you can miss and still be able to graduate. i think for our school it's about 60ish days. ask your school counselor.
anyway, i'm a high school student too and i think about motivation quite frequently. sometimes i really want to just give up. but you have to realize that there are so many opportunities out there after high school. And in order to be successful when you encounter thoes opportunities, you must build up good habbits. high school is the perfect opportunity to build up these habbits because you're still living at home and mistakes that you make now will not result in consequenses that are as severe as they would be in college.
speaking of college, that's another one of my motivations. i really can't wait to go to college but i know that if i want to do well and get the most i can out of college, i have to try my best in high school.
thinking about your dreams and aspirations might also be another excellent motivator. i'm sure there is something that you really want to do or really want to be. whatever that may be, use that to propell you forward in school.
anyway, these are just a few of my ideas. i wish you the best of luck in finding the motivation you need :]

3 weeks is quite a bit. I ditched a bunch in middle school. 17 days. If I had ditched one more day, I would have had to do the 8th grade over again. So you are approaching the limit with 15 days. Your motivation should be you not wanting to redo the grade over again and become a super-senior. I also had to do 72 hours of detention.

You sounded just like me,sweetie.I stopped cutting because i got robbed by two black girls that goes to my schoolI learned my lesson and stopped cutting because it's so dangerous. What you must do is just stop cutting.Just do it.It was like your bad habit right?try breaking it.Well you should borrow notes from your classmates,go to class everyday and sit in the front of the class so you can understand what the teacher is saying. Also, participate in class.Pass your homework,if you procrastinate, list of all the things you need to do.That will hlp you at least improve your grades. If you need help w/your homework get a tutor or ask for a parent or gurdian to help you catch up.Ask the teacher for extra credits.(Although not all teacher gives you extra credit).

High school grades are always on your permanent record. Jobs and colleges look at these grades. Do you want to graduate with your class or be left behind? I dropped out and it's not a smart thing to do!!!!
