They can't put everyone in jail, so what would the government do?

Wouldn't this be an ideal way to protest taxes?

I don't mind taxes but hate waste. We pay too many taxes while politicians get fantastic expenses and retirement plans.

It's unrealistic and simplistic. Most people would not be irresponsible enough to not pay their taxes. They are aware that it would be a disaster. If it were to happen the government would cease to function. The result would be anarchy. The law of the jungle would prevail and an invasion by a foreign power would be inevitable. That government would impose their will on us.
This type of protest would certainly force changes but not in any constructive way.
LAWFUL protest is the most constructive way to facilitate a positive change.

Yea taxes are not fun to pay, but without them we would not even be a 3rd world country, we would be whatever is below that. We couldn't pay for cops, teachers, road construction, etc...

If nobody put taxes in then our economy would quickly disintegrate, all government funded jobs would stop and if the US economy essentially blew up, the entire world would be in turmoil for quite some time.

The 16 amendment was never ratified, no IRS agent can testify against you in a court of law. In other words, if you file atax return of say $10.00 (Ten Dollars) for the year, they have no authority to question it.

This site is ineresting.

It is an interesting concept....You would never get a social security number...You would never have a bank account......You would never go into the military or work for a government agency......You would never have a credit card...You would never own property.....It would be a good idea not to have a drivers license....I know of people like that and they are here illegal and most of us when you think about it are just a little miffed about it.

What's wrong with taxes? How do you think the government pays for roads, schools, public utilities, and everything else you use. If you don't want to pay your part, get the hell out.

Mass arrests will be made by the government and the consequence will be anarchy.
