Sort of a personal question, but I heard that getting pregnant from a man's pre-c** is very rare, but I also heard that the "pull-out" method is the worst type of birth control "method" out there.. and has a high chance of pregnancies. I am concered that I am pregnant now, but it would be because of the "pull-out" method. I am not on BC- and wouldn't mind having a child, but want to know how many of you women have got pregnant from the "pull-out" method, or Pre C** ?? Thank you!

SERIOUS comments please. Everyone who thinks it's funny to make stupid and un-necessary comments need to stop wasting there time, if they don't care OR UNDERSTAND!! I am 21, in a 5 year relationship, and am not an idiot! I know I can get pregnant by pulling out.. and that is why "METHOD" was in " " ... What else would you call it??? I was just asking how many of you are out there that have gone through this also. Give me a freakin break.
THANKS to all who are serious about this.

You're right in that it is unlikely to get pregnant from pre-come, but it certainly happens. Happened to one of my friends.

I became pregnant on birth control, so I don't particularly trust any method fully.

I'm 10wks pregnant from the pull-out method. He just didn't get out in time I suppose!! We don't mind though, we are married have 2 kids so not such a big deal. I was in the process of waiting to start my pill but the baby came first!

I really wouldn't recommend it as a long term birth control method. Condoms are your easiest bet to start with. Or the pill or an IUD if you want a 'set and forget' type of contraceptive that you can have in for 3-5 years.
I highly recommend the IUD!

Anyway, yes it does happen and I am pregnant proof!

Honey, I got pregnant while on the pill and using a condom. When you're fertile, you're fertile. So, yes, you can absolutely get pregnant from the pull-out method. If you think you "wouldn't mind having a child" then try babysitting a baby for a few hours. It is REALLY, REALLY HARD. It's tiring all the time. They cry every couple of hours for like a year and a half. So, unless you REALLY want a baby with all your heart, and are financially able to do it, and totally committed to the guy and he to you, and you're willing to give up going to parties for the next seven years and give up doing the things you want to do for the next 18 years and nine months, and willing to have some bratty teenager telling you someday "Hey, I didn't ask to be born", do NOT get pregnant. Get on the pill or the patch or the shot.

My husband and i only use the pull out method, have been now for 6 years. I have not gotten pregnant everytime that we have used this method.

I did get pregnant the one time that he did not pull out which was in 2005 but i miscarried.
You proably think i have more than one child but that is all i have is one. I have not been on any birth control in over 7 years.

All I have to do is walk out side, It is in the air. : )
On a serious side, Sperm is present even before ejaculation, what you are calling Pre-C***. I have used the pull out method because i thought that the Depo shot i was taking would work but did not want to chance it , yet I still got pregnant.
Congratulations on your possible expectancy. I wish you the best.

How old ARE you?
Yes this is THE WORST type of BIRTH CONTROL out there (it isn't even a form at all!)
Buy some condoms for gods sake
and if you can't afford that or are to shy or embarrassed then..... you shouldn't be having sex in the first place!

Yes, I have a child though carelessly using the pullout method.

Although she's 20 now so hardly a child. Best thing I ever did :-)

Not that I'm suggesting that anyone should be careless with contraception.

Honey , I got pregnant on the pill (took it 12 hours late). I got pregnant when a condom broke. Not getting pregnant again - after 2 baby boys - hubbie got a vasectomy. And just in case I'm still on the pill...........

I haven't gotten pregnant with that method, but one of my friends did. Pre- *** is actually an acid that tried to clean the urine in the penis. So, there are some sperm cells in it.
