today is my birthday and my girlfriend had planned out something really great that i had been looking forward to all week long. She gives me a call last night. now.. recently her brother and his girlfriend have temporarily moved in so i really have no private time with her there. anyways she called me last night and she was like ah so when you coming over tomorrow and i was like ah.. i thought we were going to? and she was like nope just come over. so the dissapointment sort of started there, so i was just dissapointed and she was like oh and can you bring over that rainbow strobe light your father has in the cellar. and i was like why? and she was like just because god. and she said well bye. let me note that she has bi polar too and doesn't take medicine for it. so. I just sat there wondering why she was giving me attitude and called back. she answered and was like yea what? and I asked what are you all upset about. and she said WOW im not upset. and hung up on me.

I was walking through my bosses house, with my nice clean crisp white socks on. I just now noticed that the bottom of my socks have some dust and maybe a little dirt.

Should I call the Child Protective Services on her? I mean, this is pretty serious to me. I shudder to think what the poor three year old has to go through.

If God is ALL KNOWING, then why would he need to test Abraham's faith?

Genesis 22:1-12
1 Some time later God tested Abraham. He said to him, "Abraham!"
"Here I am," he replied.

2 Then God said, "Take your son, your only son, Isaac, whom you love, and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on one of the mountains I will tell you about."

3 Early the next morning Abraham got up and saddled his donkey. He took with him two of his servants and his son Isaac. When he had cut enough wood for the burnt offering, he set out for the place God had told him about. 4 On the third day Abraham looked up and saw the place in the distance. 5 He said to his servants, "Stay here with the donkey while I and the boy go over there. We will worship and then we will come back to you."

I was just talking this over with Wolfgang, my cat, this morning. I'd say that since liberals--until the Bush administration drove large numbers of people further left--live in apartments and in cities, they tend to be cat owners.

Wolfgang's opinion is that dogs are great, snarly, smelly beasts. He was shocked to learn that people think they "own" them--or cats.

Having learned that, he's decided that since his Mum, Silver, is highly intelligent, and since he knows that intelligent people are liberal, most cat owners are liberal.

Not bad reasoning for a lowly animal, eh?

To those who have read my previous question, my boyfriend just told me that he was thinking of all the happy times we had together and he really missed them a lot. He also said that he doesn't know if he wants to get back together with me. Part of him wants to get back with me, but the other part says our major exams are at stake and he doesn't want us arguing over trivial matters and hence affect our studies. And then he says he's really confused.

When he told me that, I started crying again. I want him back so much and it's like he's giving me false hope by telling me he wants me back but that's not a very good idea. I keep crying and crying and crying. I don't know what to do, or what his point is in telling me this. He knows I want him back so much and yet he tells me this.

I'm still crying. I need help I feel like dying so badly...

An old college friend and I have started to email each other, although I'm not sure "where it's at" right now. I think we're trying to figure out if there's a spark?

Besides being myself, what should I write to make the letter more attractive to him? I don't want to just seem "friendly" yet I don't want to be over-the-top or desperate. He's written a couple of long letters to me and made a lot suggestions to meet, altho. that has yet to happen. I've always made the mistake of being too "open" in the past so I want to leave him intrigued at least a little.

PS. Is there a rule about how long I should wait btwn emails?

ok, i cannot talk to my ex, or be near them, or associate with people who talk with him, and i cant even look at him cuz my parents despise him (at least my mom does). its been 5-6 months since we've broken up and we've both been in relationships and we still love/like eachother. my mom says she wont let me even be friends with him cuz she says:
1) hes manipulating me
2) he lied to her and i lied to her (we secretly talked and dated behind her backk)
3) she says he has issues
4) she thinks i cant handle it on my own and that ive hurt my whole family by lying to them.
im not sure how i can convince her. ive tried talking to her but we end up yelling at each other every time!!! its so gay. i wanna have my family and my ex but i only get one in the end....so how can i convince my mom to let me talk to him again??
