Just another random question. What kind of weird experience have you had about Ghost and paranormal stuff?

For those of you who use elements as part of a magical system, which elements do you associate with which directions? The most popular system has North as Earth, East as Air, South as Fire, and West as Water. There is another system (which some have said is actually the original) that is less common that places Air in the North, Earth in the East, Fire in the South, and Water in the West.

Though it's not the popular placement, the latter is more logical to me. I live in the UK. To the North we have the cold North wind. To the East there's the continent Europe. To the South there's the equator. And to the West there's the Atlantic. There are other reasons, but it would take too long to list them all.

Which placement do you favour (it could be something entirely different) and why?

Every morning It takes 10 mins just to wake up my 8yr old to wake up for school. Shes such a heavy sleeper and sometimes I really think she hears me waking her up but she just goes back to sleep and just ignores me. She can even sleep through her alarm clock sounding off for minutes! I know it takes patiences to be a mother but EvERY SINGLE MORNING we have to go through this. It makes me mad some days because this is a routine and I feel she should wake up on her own after i wake her up after a few shakes and scholls to wake up.....Any ideas?

As I've been saying all along, maybe we don't know all the facts.

We all agree global warming is real, it is the cause that is at issue. Can we, from both sides, agree that we do not yet have all the facts?

I inserted a map into a document in Word. When I printed only the names of the cities showed, no boundaries, roads, rivers, etc.
I am printing on a HP PSC750xi.
The map only needs to be in grey scale so I did not print, or try to print, in color. (Also my color cartridge needs replacing, new one is on order.)
What do I need to change/check to make the map print within the document?

I am 17 and I am in love with this 21 year old man. He lives in another state-AK, while I live in TX. We love eachother so much and it surpasses puppy love-its like that deep down SOUL touching LOVE! Earilier this year I got banned from talking to boys on my housephone, so this summer I SECRETLY got a cell phone and met my FIANCEE (Keather from AK). Should I tell my parents or wait? Ok, so my car was having troubles starting on hills. And eventually wouldn't start, so i replaced the fuel filter.

Then a week later, the car wouldn't start again, it was water in the fuel lines, fixed that.

Now, it still has a hell of a time starting on hills.....is my fuel pump going?

If so, should i replace it with a new one or use, and how hard is it to replace?

This has taken twice as long and cost 3 times as much as I had budgeted. Now I've invested all of my savings. After many visits from city inspectors I've finally rented 3 of the 4 units.
I have to concentrate my "real" job for a while. So, I want to wait till the spring to re-do the last unit. I've shut off the electricity and water to the 4th unit. There is still some water in the pipes under the sink and comode. Do I have to keep the place heated? If so to what temperature? What else should I do to protect my investment while rebuilding my savings account?

I am having trouble connecting my dvd player to my receiver and getting the ouput video on my tv I get audio but no video. I was able to get both with my tube tv but I have a flat panel and for some reason the setup is different.

Using the word "I" is problematic, but i don't know how else to communicate. i have sought enlightenment in many ways, including "not-seeking".
