ok, i cannot talk to my ex, or be near them, or associate with people who talk with him, and i cant even look at him cuz my parents despise him (at least my mom does). its been 5-6 months since we've broken up and we've both been in relationships and we still love/like eachother. my mom says she wont let me even be friends with him cuz she says:
1) hes manipulating me
2) he lied to her and i lied to her (we secretly talked and dated behind her backk)
3) she says he has issues
4) she thinks i cant handle it on my own and that ive hurt my whole family by lying to them.
im not sure how i can convince her. ive tried talking to her but we end up yelling at each other every time!!! its so gay. i wanna have my family and my ex but i only get one in the end....so how can i convince my mom to let me talk to him again??

As long as you live with Mom you need to follow her rules. I am sure she has a good reason. This is what a parent does. I am sure when you become a parent you will do the same things.

I assure you that your mom didn't just randomly decide to hate this guy. Just remember she's the one who loves and cares for you and he's just in it until the next girl come along. I would be willing to bet that your mom has a good reason and that you'd be smart to move on to better guys.

What I think you should do is talk to your mom and tell her that you lied yes and that you are truly sorry and that you'd do anything for her trust. Talk it out first and listen to her she's hurt that you lied. And then once you guys talk about that you need to tell her how you feel about this boy and if she talks bad about him just tell her (not yelling) that it's unfair for her to judge him when she hasn't given him a chance. But definitely talk to her about the trust thing and really listen to her.
