Native Americans haven't been able to use peyote in their religious rites since the 1960's due to federal drug laws, even though they had done so for thousands of years prior to Christianities arrival in America. Mormons were forced to give up polygamy in the 1800's and territories STILL can't become states unless their constitutions explicitly outlaw polygamy. whats the deal? who gets to decide what religious practices are covered by the constitution and those that aren't.

i see this as clear evidence of the pervasive way in which Protestantism has regulated and legislated other "nonconformist" religions in North America

They want to share a room,,the guy at the reception charges them $30. Each pay ten and leave to their room,,later the guy realizes he charged them too much he shouldv only charged them $25,,being honest he gives $5 in singles to the bus boy and tells him to take the $5 and give it to the three guys upstairs.On his way up the busboy thinks for a sec and realizes that itl be a lil complicated for him to split $5 between 3 guys so he put $2 in his pocket went up and gave each guy a doller back. Now the room ended up costing each guy $9 X the 3 guys = 27 + the two dollars the busboy kept thats 29,,where is the missing dollar??

Some of these can be quite lenghty in the winter. especially in these parts. What on earth do we do with our 3 tropical fish tanks if this happens again? Keeping it warm and preventing the bacteria from dying in the filters?

If the Cowboys finish the season strong, they could leap ahead of the Bears and the Dolphins for the NFL's best winning percentage of all time. Check out the following numbers:

After 2007 season if Cowboys win out, and Bears and Dolphins lose out
Cowboys (with a 15-1 finish)
416 wins, 300 losses, 6 ties
.581 winning percentage

Dolphins (with an 0-16 finish)

368 wins, 268, losses, 4 ties
.578 winning percentage


Bears (with a 5-11 finish)
675 wins, 493 losses, 42 ties
.577 winning percentage


So, there you have it. The Cowboys and we, their fans, could lay claim to their team having the best winning percentage of all time. NOt to mention 8 Superbowl appearances, winning five of those. Just another little thing to have in our favor when it comes time to discussing the "Which is the best football franchise of all time?" argument.

And next season looks to be even better.

I was told about testing of the second tube but i was given different info. 1st they said that it was 150.00 and that the company would pay ( B charged ) and i would have to the company back. the company said today that no one contacted them. The company says that I have to pay. they can't take it out of my check. Now all of a sudden there is a 72hr deadline that I'm just hearing of today that expires today. what can i do? ex and I broke up a couple months ago and didn't see each other until recently, when he called me wanting to see me again. He was very excited to see me and wants to start hanging out again. We had been pretty serious before (hes 25 I'm 26) and broke up over something stupid, and we both realize that now. He wants to start "hanging out," but also says he doesn't want to get serious or get married (he has issues; his parents just got divorced after over 25 years of marriage after his mom cheated) This is a huge change from him even a couple months ago when we were together.

I know we both have romantic feelings for each other still, but I'm wondering, should I continue to "hang out" with him with the hopes he will want to get serious, as we were before, or find someone else who does? I would like to be in a serious relationship and I love him, but I don't want to hang out as just friends or friends with benefits. I don't know if I should move on or wait?

Why then did a bunch of thugs break into my neighbours daughters place tie her up and then rob them in front of her daughter and then TAZER their helpless POODLE? The police need to be trained further in using communication than something that can mame or kill! I deplore the use of these vechicles of " DEATH ". Sadly, the Dog is okay, but is more gun shy than ever. It's like shoot now ask questions later, deal with the authorities. Why, not use rubber bullets or pepper spray instead? I recently found out some serious stuff about my husband, not very pretty I might add, that he has been doing behind my back (cheating). I am planning on confronting him and ultimately divorcing him but I don't want to ruin Christmas for my family. I know HE's the one who would technically be "ruining" Christmas but I feel it is selfish of me to not hold it in until after Christmas, for my kid's sake, as well as for the sake of feeling somewhat "normal" for the holidays. On the other hand, I feel like I am going to explode or have a nervous breakdown. I know if I bring it up now, it will completely ruin Christmas for everyone involved. My husband is a narcissist and will NEVER admit he's in the wrong and it will come back on me. Any advice on how to "keep it together" for the next 2 weeks? What would you do? Please help me!! Thanks.
