The ammonium ion is NH4+1; sulfate is SO4 -2, so the the compound will be (NH4)2SO4 and will have 8 hydrogens per molecule.

(NH4)2(SO4)
so abviously, as you can see,
4*2 = 8 H atoms in ammonium sulfate.
