Hi! Peafowl- What's the best feathers to trim, how, and how much?

Does anyone have experience with trimming peafowl feathers? I have heard trim the tail. I have heard trim one wing. What part, how much? Trying to keep them in a 10 ft fence. Thanks. -rhino

i would honestly have a person show you in person before you even try it yourself.
i was talking to a vet today and we were discussing trimming duck feathers. she told me a woman came in with a budgie...she cut it incorrectly she actually pinioned it and cut its equivalent to a thumb off and it bled way too much. of course the blood feathers had to be removed but this caused the bird much pain and trauma.
