I was told about testing of the second tube but i was given different info. 1st they said that it was 150.00 and that the company would pay ( B charged ) and i would have to the company back. the company said today that no one contacted them. The company says that I have to pay. they can't take it out of my check. Now all of a sudden there is a 72hr deadline that I'm just hearing of today that expires today. what can i do? Oh yeah, now the price is 175.00 for the second tube to be tested.

Well, I'll say this. I don't soul here and you can't even see my face. if i had used drugs, so be it. I wouldn't even be on here, but to know that you haven't done anything and have this happen to you, it's a little hard to take.

Common practice is that you pay to test the second container. If it comes back negative, you get reimbursed. Never heard of a 3 day time limit, although there probably is some sort of timeline.
Mo's answer is incorrect and HAS been contested in court. If what you do on your time can have an affect while you are working, it is the companies business. Why do you think Workmans Comp does not pay for injuries if a drug test (mandatory when seeking medical assistance) is positive?

If you need your job, you had better cough it up.This whole substance abuse testing is anti American. What a person does on their own time is none of any ones damn business. I wonder if it has ever been challenged in a court room? I know I'd like to challenge it. Bye the way, I don't use any drugs , so for those of you who say, if you have nothing t hide, don't worry about it, can climb off your high horses right now. It's not a Christian or a George Bush thing. It is about your right to privacy and your dwindling civil rights.

Are you innocent? If so. pay, have it done, and take the bill to the manager and ask to be comped without having to take it to the Labor relations board for them to get it back for you with a formal complaint.
