I want to surprise my wife today and get her something just because. I have gotten her flowers in the past, but I was thinking of maybe doing something that will really surprise her. What could I buy that is about the same price range and will mean something?

How about just a card that is very sentimental and meaningful. I know I love it when my boyfriend gives me stuff like that.

My lady sometimes brings me home a personalized card from Hallmark. You can actually make a card that is specific to her.
Sometimes my she will do a small themed gift - this week I got one with incenes, a candle, and a small book of matches.
You could also pick up some small pretty ornaments for her.
Or, if she cooks for you, nothing beats arriving home with some really great take-out and a bottle of wine. Throw in a massage and you totally rock.

How about you do something special instead of buying something special? Actions are generally more personal. Maybe give her a massage, or cook a special dinner for her, or have a "movie night" on the couch? If you'd prefer to buy something, maybe get something related to one of her hobbies? Or bring home her favorite food?

how about a gift certificate for a massage!
that would make me extremely happy!
or rent a romantic movie, buy expensive ice cream or soemthing else you know she likes to eat, take out a blankie and just cuddle (pls try not to fall asleep during the movie...)
