me and my family had been waiting for 3 years for our visa's to come over to the usa. whenever the visa process took a step forward it got knocked three steps back. i told my self that we would never get to go so when we got our visas in july i was gutted because i didn't want to move across the world.
so we have been living here since 8th september and since that day my life has been a misery i'm always arguing with my mum. to be honest i hate it here but when ever i bring it up my mum just does not listen.my mums friend said that i could stay there when i get back to england.
how can i get her to understand?

I have a vegitable steamer. It is NOT a rice steamer. I has a water boiling base, which contains an oblong slotted basket, and a solid basket sits inside of the slotted basket with a clear plastic lid. Can I cook rice in the solid basket? What would be a basic recipe and how to?

I saw a book on Amazon.com about investing in rare coins for an early retirement. I won't mention the title, because I think it's against this site's Community Guidelines for me to ask whether or not you would recommend a product by name.

But basically the book claims to teach you how, by investing about $210 a month in rare coins, you could make enough to retire in about a dozen years. It's not an easy task, because apparently it takes a lot of research to find a coin that will give you a good return on your investment.

The book was published in 1998. I used AIER.org's Cost-of-Living Calculator to figure out that $210 in 1998 is worth about $265 today.

Well, I don't know much about rare coin collecting and investing. Would you be able to tell me if rare coin investing could really enable you to retire in about a dozen years?

He is 47 yrs old and 4 kids..15,13,9,6.....I am 36 and have 16yr,14yr old. He has been thru so much I am so patient but I have my doubts. We are both Italian and love each other. He brings his past up a lot and it makes me feel like i have to pay for his past.

Help...my husband was diagnosed with bi-polar/ADHD about 15 years back, and we have been married for almost a year, and it is getting really bad. He has these outburst, and hates everyone and everything when he goes into these "rages", including himself. I tell him all the time he needs to see a doctor and be medicated, or get counceling to help also, because he gets so angry, and enraged. He has never hurt me or my kids, which whom are not his, but he does worry me because it's like he turns into someone else. He tells me things that he normally wouldn't tell me when he's not in his rage. I just need some advice, because if things don't look up soon, I'm asking for a divorce...

I have really long legs, which happen to be what my bf is attracted to. This is going to sound stupid, but I like to stand next to other girls to show him how much longer my legs are..... well at a party this weekend he saw a girl that he wanted me to stand next to, but her legs were a mile long and I really didn't want to, he has been teasing me about not doing it, but I really didn't want him to have that image in his head.

Does anyone else do anything similar for their bf, and if so would you have compared legs with her

The reason I ask is because I think by not comparing with her I look less confident, which I know is a big turn-off.

We have k 5 month old kitten and she farts... ALOT!

We feed her the same cat food as our other cat that has no problems and dosent smell at all.. its not when she gets excited or scared it just random... all the time... is there anything that could be wrong with her insides? i have had quite a few male cats that havent farted much... dose it make a difference if they are male or female?

My cable internet is down a lot. The modem shows that it can receieve, but cannot send.. The send light for the modem is flashing. I then always have to unplug my cable wires, turn off the modem, then replug the wires, turn the modem back on like 4 to 10 times or more before the internet will work again. Then the internet would only work for 1 hour max, then is down again. Thus, I have to re do the process off unplugging wires, turning off ect. What can be wrong? Is it my modem that is defective or is it something wrong with the cable wires?

I know it isnt my router, i have unplugged for the router, and connected directly into my computer, internet is still down...
