HEY YOU CHEATER! I was just about to ask the question "Does anyone else love the idea of getting old" i mean like 60+ (not that its old but older than me)
For some reason i can't wait, and i dont know why.
How you know when you're getting old...I'd say its physical.
Mentally you're usually a lot wiser, socially - sometimes it takes people til their old to become social butterflies.
But I guess even physically if you feel young - then you are young.
I love old people :)

Physically: when you say ow, ow, ow upon getting up from the couch.....
Mentally: when you tell someone "when I was a kid......"
Socially: you could care less if it's New Years and you can't remember the last time you drank alcohol

Well, there is a funny quote which defines old age quite well, it says :- " I am in the Metallic age, Silver in my hair, Gold in my teeth, and Lead in my pants".
I think that says it all. No offence meant but that pretty much sums it up the best for me.
Take Care.

Its a mental thing, in my opinion. As long as you're young at heart, your body will follow. If you feel old, you'll be old....no matter what age you are.

It's purely physical. It starts when you avoid engaging in a game of Wii Bowling for fear of what it might to to your back.

It is all of the above.
Physical--when you can't do what you used to have fun doing.
Mental--when you don't want to do the stuff you used to have fun doing.
Social--when 75 % of the people don't know what you are talking about when you tell them what you used to have fun doing.
