I have really long legs, which happen to be what my bf is attracted to. This is going to sound stupid, but I like to stand next to other girls to show him how much longer my legs are..... well at a party this weekend he saw a girl that he wanted me to stand next to, but her legs were a mile long and I really didn't want to, he has been teasing me about not doing it, but I really didn't want him to have that image in his head.
Does anyone else do anything similar for their bf, and if so would you have compared legs with her
The reason I ask is because I think by not comparing with her I look less confident, which I know is a big turn-off.

No, I have never done anything like that for my bf. But if I did have long legs, I'll show them off at every opportunity.

the fact that you would actually stand next to another girl to compare, shows your insecurity.
You should tell him, if he is not happy with you, find someone else.
be happy with who you are. you have nothing to prove to anyone.
just because one girl has longer legs than another doesnt mean they look as good. one could have chicken legs or thick legs. all is a personal preferance. the one that is the best depends on who you ask.
some guys like big breast, some like small. some like fake some like real. some like fat girls some like really skinny girls.
all you can do is just be you and dont worry about what anyone esle thinks. if you are confident in yourself, that is much more of a turn on for guys.

Confidence is key and I woulda made a fun way of doing it...you showed a weakness to him and now he will pray on it! I would have just done it because regardless of the fact that her legs were longer you have him and are going home with him! In essence that is all that really matters! Maybe she had longer legs but he knows what he has with you and perhaps her personality in itself would be a turnoff! There is more to a person besides their appearance hon so buck up next time!

Ok, I'm a guy, but I know exactly where your coming from(past relationships). My gf had the same thing about her breasts, she had the biggest in the school. Another girl came to a party and the same thing happened, she didnt compair them and went crazy about it for weeks. Anyway back to the question. Your boyfriend may love you for your long legs, but thats not the only reason he loves you. He obviously thinks your a great person. If he doesnt, he's not worth it.

Even if it pleases your bf, you are trying to build self-esteem by comparing yourself to other people, and that will never last. How would those girls feel if they knew what you were doing? Girls have enough pressure to look perfect (and many of us wish we had slender long pretty legs and if we knew that the ones that do have them were comparing themselves to us - just to feel better or to make someone else feel better - it would make us feel absolutely ugly and stubby for our OWN bfs) by the media and surrounding people. Stop cuz that pretty much contains no integrity. Your bf sounds shallow...make sure he wants you for YOU, not your legs...

I have legs a mile long too. I think you didn't do what he asked because you thought she would be more impressive. My boyfriend actually is not so crazy about my heighth. He likes the fact that I am a pretty small woman, but doesn't like that I am a tall woman. He hates that I love high heels and platform shoes. I would have done it, just to prove I was more impressive.

you shouldn't have to compare yourself with anyone else to feel good about yourself. and just because you didn't want to compare yourself with this other random chick doesn't mean your not confident. your boyfriend shouldn't ask you to do such things. it's just silly.
what would make you look more confident and be a big turn on would be if you didn't compare yourself with anyone else and if you felt sure of yourself and comfortable in your own skin without having to stand next to someone who "isn't" as beautiful as you.

gal, he does not seem to be loving you genuinely. He seems to be attracted only to your legs. He is making fun of you, breaking your self-esteem and not showing you enough respect. Tell him straight in the face, you are losing your confidence. Don't let anyone or anthing put you down. A gal needs to be confident, if they will be easyily bullied.

I do this with my tan.. my guy loves my tan so ill stand by people who aren't as tan as me to make me look darker.
I would have quickly stood by her and then for the rest of the party tried to stay away from her and near girls with shorter legs. That way he would have hopefully realized that just because her legs were longer it doesn't mean he's missing out on anything.

No, comparing with the others makes you look less confident. You should be able to say that you don't care what the others look like. Don't define yourself just by how other people look, or by how your bf wants you to look. Be yourself !!
