we are fourteen.. and i dont want to spend a ton of money, but i want to get him something cute. i was thinking a $10 girftcard to a local movie store (blockbuster or something), his favorite candy,drink and some popcorn.. then i was thinking we could hangout one night and watch the moive he picks out.. is this to girly? guys would you like this? if not ideas please??

Don't get him the gift card just take him out on the date and insist that you pay for his ticket... and sneak the snacks into the theater, because movie theater's charge way too much for snacks... and if he doesn't want to go out to a movie then let him rent the movie of his choice... just remember that you're 14 and he probably isn't expecting anything special so don't worry about what you do for him

Sounds perfect. Go with him to pick out the movie and try to get him to pick something scary. Then you can cuddle up real close while watching it.

im a chick but i have to say i dont think its a good idea the point in getting him a present is so he can remember you if you buy him a movie ticket he isnt going to remember you next week my brothers are 16 and 19 and they seem to like slogan t-shirts stuff with crazy writing on it and other things like that try a little snooping find out what makes his heart go boom and then you have him hook line and sinker
