Hello. I'm having a difficult time trying to figure this problem out about quadratic functions and their vertices. The problem says to identify the quadratic function using the vertex of the quadratic function and a point in which the function passes through. I'm assuming I have to use the standard form of a quadratic function. The vertex is (4, -1) and the point is (2, 3).

I would very much like if someone were to show me how to do it step by step instead of just giving me the answer. I don't want to keep posting questions on twenty problems about the same thing.

Not to sound demeaning, but I would appreciate it greatly if correct answers/steps are given. I have seen many times where people would have four different answers to a simple algebraic problem because of a adding/subtracting mistake.

right ive just layed over 200...100mmx100mm (4x4) tiles,apart from the wall being out,gone like a dream. now ive grouted them,bits at a time,but no matter how quick i seem to go its setting on the tiles as quick as i can wipe it off. its took me longer to clean the tiles,than it has to lay them. the stuff ive used is adheshive and grout all in one. is there a better way,(quicker) or better grout to use ,because surely proffessional tilers dont muck about like this. or is it just a labour of love,and elbow grease????????

Wait for full thing

1. when she asks how she looks shrug and say "could be better" this will keep her on her toes. and girls love that.

2. never hold her hand. this can be interpreted as a sign of weakness. (or if she grabs your hand squeeze hers really really hard until she cries. this will impress her by showing her what a strong man you are.)

3. once a month sneak up on her from behind and knock her over. girls are like dogs. they love to be roughed up.

4. call her in the middle of the night to ask if she's sleeping. if she is say you better be , repeat this 4 or 5 times until morning. this will show her you care.

5. when she is upset about something, suggest to her that it might be her fault. this will pave the way for her own personal improvement. and every girl needs some improvement.

6. recognize the small things . . . they usually mean the most. then when she's sleeping, steal all her small things and break them. because jewelry is for p*ssies and asian ladies

i realy want an ipod, but have no idea how expencive they are.
i accept that they will be quite expensive, but if anyone knows where i can find a good quality ipod, that doesn't cost too much, i would really apreciate it!

The group that I refer to is everybody that answers and asks questions in this category. Athiests, Agnostics, Muslims, Christians, etc. I have read through about ten questions and all answers included since signing on today and 95% of it is just people pretty much just name calling only using bigger words instead of four letter ones. Why can't anybody here debate like adults?

If elected president would he work on Sunday? I know its frowned upon in the Mormon religion to work on Sunday or at least thats my perception. Is thats the case, how would he be able to fulfill his duties as President, becuase I know being the President is a 7 day a week job.
