Does it? and also my face is a reddish hue which I think is from the acne. Did any one else have that and did it go away with proactive?

I did think one step helped, one step did nothing, and the other gave me more! It took a long time too! I would suggest finding a cream like the proactive execpet not just like- proactive soulitin has little hard irritating beads that irritate some skin types. If you have sensitive skin I would not suggest it. But if you don't have sensitive skin what the heck it's worth a try.Mine gave me more pimples in oily areas.......top of me head under hair, sides of nose, upper/lower lip!

I tend to suffer from the occasional adult break outs, I purchased proactiv about a year ago and it really works. My teenage son also uses it, not often enough, but he still has a pretty clear complexion compared to others teens his age. I highly recommend it. Besides, it can't hurt!

I have tried it, and the and last step, I think it was the cream only gave me more acne!! I thought that it was a waste of money.
The best acne washes that I have ever tried (and I have tried them all) was clearasel.

Yes it really helped take away pimples that I had. If you want to check out other brands, I heard dermalogica also works pretty well
