Was the Big Bang just a single explosion of a repeatative process? Does the universe expand and contract in rythem, much like that seen within energy waves or atomic organization. Pulling itself into a singularity and exploding over and over again, perhaps forever?

Is it just like one giant perpetual energy machine? If that's possible, wouldn't light given off at the edge of the universe be lost as total energy, causing an eventual breakdown of the system, or is the universe supposed to just expand forever?

If it's possible that it will expand forever, what were the factors that had to already be in existance that caused this reaction? Is it possible that the universe is only one of many within a multiverse?

Perhaps our galaxies and our universe composes the "fundemental" building blocks (the quarks and atoms so to speak) of another level of existance.

Is it possible that if we keep breaking down energy into smaller forms we'll eventuall stumble upon our own existance?

I have been with my bf for almost 2 years and a few weeks ago he broke up with me. This was a very serious relationship to the point that we just assumed we would and planned to be married. Now we have gone through some rough patches and are very confused and it doesnt help that we live an hour and a half apart and always have. We have broken up yet we still see each other sometimes and are taking time right now to just be single and think. We planned to do that when we broke up but he ended up getting with someone else a week after we broke up. I was cleaning today and said something to my husband about not helping, he was just sitting there watching TV all day why I cleaned. I walked out of the room and he called me a Sl*t. I am looking to shop for a new winter jacket and I noticed how some jackets are insulated with 100g of Primaloft. Would this be compared to a 550 fill down Jacket, or more?

Also, what is the difference between 100g of Primaloft insulation vs. 200g of Quallofil insulation. I read that Primaloft is better than Quallofil, but given that the jacket is insulated with twice the amount of quallofil, does that make it warmer? Thanks.

In what other ways is religion being forced upon you? Aside from the obvious influence religion has on politics and the like, would any other situation conflict with you? Lets say for instance a Jewish man walked by you wearing his yalmulka, would that be religion being forced upon you? GUYS!!
Just got a pair of crisp White Nike Air Forces

wore them jeans today while i was Christmas Shopping
and they bled onto my shoes!!!
Im the kind of girl whose shoes are kept crisp
with no stains or creases & now i have damaged shoes!!
There are blue sections of my shoes that the jeans
rubbed onto and stained.
Have any tips to get the stains off?

Im going to try anything
trying to avoid using shoe whitener
because of the white pasty look after a while
so anybody got some remedies or tips?

Please help me.
My boyfriend bought me these and im trying to preserve them for as long as i possibly can.

My husband has a brother that has been 18 since March and has has 3 jobs all for about 2-3 days each. He lives in Kentucky and we live in Virginia, but he calls and whines endlessly to my husband about how hard his life is and woe-is-me crap. He has a girlfriend who has just turned 18 and is fully supporting him, she works and buys his food, pays when they go out on date, everything! She is an idiot. My husband asked him if he was using protection, you know, and his reply was"sometimes." i am about to scream at this kid to get his head out of his butt and get a job. What is going to happen when said girlfriend gets knocked up and he is without any income or insurance. He still lives with his mother in her basement and his main objective of the day is playstation 3. When my husband was this kid's age, he had been in the Marines for 7 months. When I was his age I had been in the Navy for about 6 months. We have tried to talk him into the military, no use. What can we do?

Me and my boyfriend have been together since January, he treated me like no other when we first got together, flowers, candy, cards, and poems. I bought him a new tattoo set and many other things because at the time I was able to get him things, now we have moved somewhere else and things are not anywhere close to where they used to be I ask him questions he yells, he spends all of his time with our neighbor at their house only comes home to shower and sleep, He is never here anymore.
