My fiance was just prescribed antidepressents and the doctor said that there would be sexual side effects such as no desire for it, no ability to get in the mood, etc. How often do those side effects really take place and what can i do as his fiance to help keep our intimacy normal?

I had never heard of this situation before but after hours reading & studying it, now I know it well. Our vet told us to take the puppies away from our nursing mom immediately, but I'm reading that we can supplement the milk to them, drastically reduce the nursing time permitted , try to wean them asap, and most important, adjust her diet. Does anybody have any experience with this situation ??? I realize now that the vet couldn't spend 6 hours to teach us all that we didn't know when we took our dog in to him, but now we do know and I wonder what experienced breeders do
in this situation. Do they return the pups after stabilizing the dog and correcting what caused this in the first place ?
I know now that it was diet and a predisposition of small dogs to encounter this startling and dangerous situation.
It is terrifying, I drove to the vet thinking we might lose our dog and I drove like a mad woman James Bond. So, now, can we safely return the puppies for minimal nursing ?

I read in a parenting magazine that drinking green tea can cause miscarriages? Has anyone ever heard of this from their doctor and do you believe this or not?

there's this kid i babysit. he's 3 and has a mild form of autism. i take him to go pee every 30 min. and he pees in the toilet (he won't tell you that he has to go, though), but he won't poop. he'll poop his pants, and i'll sit him on the potty while i clean up the mess, and he jumps off and says he's all done, then finishes the job in the second pair of underwear. he did this twice. the third time (this is over a week of babysitting various nights), i sat him on the pot and told him to finish going (there was only a little in his underwear when i caught him). i read him a book hoping that would take his mind off of it, and after 10 min. still nothing. so i put a pull-up on him and he finished the job almost immediately. i talked to the mom and she said she'd rather have him poop in the pull-up than be holding it in because he won't go in the pot. (her oldest son held it for 3 days because he didn't want to go in the toilet). why are kids afraid to poop in the toilet?

I love to sing in church and I think its a very important part of the service. Why are there so many people that don't participate during the singing?

Also - I like to sway and move while I'm singing because I enjoy the songs so much and I really think music is a wonderful way to celebrate and express yourself.
I also have a 1 year old son and he likes it when I'm holding him and swaying and singing, and I think it helps him learn that singing is good and fun.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not clapping and raising my hands and dancing, I'm just "getting into it" a little bit.

After those 2 months he leave, and i found out i was pregnant, he promise me marriage, that we will sort it out either me going to australia or he moving in my country. With the time was more and more difficult find him to talk about the situation and now im 4 months pregnant and desperate about what to do. Im planning to to australia, and give birth there, because everything is a mess in my country, I do think will be the best for the baby. My questions are.. If i can give birth there without having troubles because im planning to go with a tourist visa. And if i get some support from any institution in legal advice to get to my baby the last name of the father, and get with it Child support, because i will be single mother. please help

My 9 year old cat has been gaining a lot of weight. I am very sure she isn't pregnant, her nipples aren't getting bigger, she hasn't been outside in at least 4 months, and we had the male cat here neutered about one and a half months ago..he was 5 months old when he got neutered.

She's just gotten fatter. She is still eating (no more nor less then usual) and playing like normal, and is still her happy self.

Any ideas why she's getting fat?

I don't want any talk on "Oh you should get her fixed!" I have plans to, after the holiday season is over. I'll have more money then.

Our wedding and reception is very medieval themed as some of you might know from my previous posts. Our reception is being held outside in a very large garden. We were thinking of setting up some sort of medieval games for the children, out of the 40 guests invited, 14 will be children. Looking for suggestions. We thought perhaps we would take some bow & arrows (nerf tips ofcourse) and set up targets... or a bean bag toss through the dragons eyes and mouth... maybe even some hula hoops tossed over some paper mache dragons? We talked to some of the older teenagers who said they would be happy to supervise. My family is very artistic and crafty so we will do these ourselves.

Can you close your nose without holding it ? i.e. block it without using your fingers or doing anything other than just...blocking it, so that you can't smell through it, breath through it etc. The same sort of action as swallowing or breathing, that you can't describe - you just DO it.
My whole family can do it as well as a couple of friends (that I know of) and I always thought everyone could until someone looked at me like I was talking craaaazy when I mentioned it somehow.
My boyfriend also thinks I'm loopy, so I said I'd do a survey.
Can most people do it or not?

No, it's not just holding your breath - you can still breath through your mouth. And it definitely doesn't hurt!
