Hello

Im from Bolivia and i met a guy from australia 5 months ago, he came to live with me and my family during 2 months, during that time he didnt pay a penny for anything, was giving everything to him (food, electricity, a car, everything!). After those 2 months he leave, and i found out i was pregnant, he promise me marriage, that we will sort it out either me going to australia or he moving in my country. With the time was more and more difficult find him to talk about the situation and now im 4 months pregnant and desperate about what to do. Im planning to to australia, and give birth there, because everything is a mess in my country, I do think will be the best for the baby. My questions are.. If i can give birth there without having troubles because im planning to go with a tourist visa. And if i get some support from any institution in legal advice to get to my baby the last name of the father, and get with it Child support, because i will be single mother. please help

yes ypu are entitled to child support no matter where you live. You would have to go to family court, and request a hearing with both parties, the judge will then request a DNA if the father does contest paternity. If the child is his he will be required to pay child support. Also try not to worry too much because stress on the fetus is not good. good luck

It seems like you are in a bit of a mess...You can have your child anywhere, but I would make sure that I was prepared with a VISA, or other documents before traveling. The child, wherever he/she is born will become a citizen of that country, as long as you have it in that country. I'm not sure I understand your situation. Are you currently living in America? It's difficult to say how you would make this man responsible for child support, but I'm sure there's a way. Talk to someone from your closest social security office, or a child support enforcement agency and explain your situation. They should be able to help. If you can get ahold of this guy, whether he's in australia or not, and get him to sign an affidavit saying that he promises to pay "x" amount of money, it will hold up in court. Good luck honey!

Not going to happen. Find an ob in your country and plan on giving birth and raising your child there. Next time, don't have sex with men you are not married to.
