If life is full of uncertainties, then there are some established concrete foundations that you can rest on during those times of vagueness.
But life is uncertain, because you can establish those foundations throughout your entire life but there will always be a sink hole to swallow your foundation. Often more than once.

I guess i'd agree with the latter...Life is uncertain... Since if there is an uncertain life, uncertain events take place... By the way i believe that the two terms are synonymous to each other since whatever be the case, the outcome is the same!!!

Well the answer to your question depends on you. Do you believe that life is pre-destined or that you choose your own path. If you choose your own path then life itself is uncertain, and you shape what you do. If you believe that there is a greater mission and that to some extent there is a plan, then life is just full of uncertainties.

I'm not sure

Life is just Life. The certain and uncertain happen in the head.

The question is certainly thought provoking!
When one considers what intricacies and complexities there are in getting pregnant, remaining pregnant and being born alive; then one can conclude that life itself is uncertain.

However, once life is attained it certainly with all the complexities of our world, will have it's uncertainties.

So one could surmise that life is uncertain and contains uncertainties.

Now that my head is spinning...... Think I'll visit a silly section of answers!

This is more easily understandable if one considers the actual scale of the components of an atom. If one takes into account the fact that the neutrons, protons and electrons of an atom actually have huge spaces between them it becomes clear that the atoms that make up seemingly solid objects are made up of 99+ percent empty space.

This alone does not seem too important till you add the idea that the atoms that make up seemingly solid objects are more of a loose conglomeration that share a similar attraction but never really touch each other.

At first glance this does not really seem relevant, but closer analysis reveals that this adds a tremendous amount of empty space to solid objects that are already made up of atoms that are 99 percent space. When so-called solid objects are seen in this light it becomes apparent that they can in no way be the seemingly solid objects they appear to be.

We ourselves are not exceptions to this phenomenon.

These seemingly solid objects are more like ghostly images that we interpret as solid objects based on our perceptual conclusions.

From this we must conclude that Perception is some sort of a trick that helps us to take these ghostly images and turn them into a world we can associate and interact with. This clever device seems to be a creation of our intellect that enables us to interact with each other in what appears to be a three dimensional reality.

I hope that helps to answered your question.

Life itself is certain. I think its us humans that are uncertain with who we are. Life is what we make. Maybe certainties may not seem like the ones we conceive in our minds.

Life itself is certain at all means...It sustain and maintain itself perfectly and eternally...It sustain and maintain plants and creatures whom does not separate itself from life...Human fear and ignorance separate life and humans...For humans Life existing as something different than they are. Uncertainty belong to humans, they projecting it onto life and as a reflection back life gladly gives us that which we are requesting to. Being in tune with life means not to project anything on it but be one with it then projection and reflection wont be possible, instead we might obtain qualities which Life are...eternal.
