neon signs employ neon in only one color: red. other gases are used in other colors. Neon was not even descovered as the first color in neon. it was mercury (blue).

My boyfriend and I have been dating for 4 years now. He is currently enlisted in the Marines and I am about to graduate from college. I am in the Air Force ROTC program and will be commissioned as an officer soon after my graduation. Is anyone familiar with fraternization rules and can tell me if my boyfriend and I will still be allowed to date? We love each other very much, but we also don't want to break any rules. My husband and I have been separated for 6 mos. He had an affair w/my neighbor for 2 1/2 years and although I tried very hard to forgive it and put it out of my head, I just couldn't do it. I haven't filied for divorce and I still have feelings for him, but I am not sure if it is really love or just the longing for the 12 years we spent together. He has been trying very hard to get me back and I finally agreed to counseling (I was in therapy on my own after I found out about the affair, but he wouldn't go for fear of being blamed for all that went wrong in our marriage). I just found his login info for eharmony and although we have counseling scheduled for tomorrow evening, he is still asking and answering questions to the women he is "matched" with...even this afternoon. Am I a complete idiot for wasting my time and money on counseling with him? I am doing fine on my own but have 4 children that we are co-raising.

I dont get it. This is like the 3rd or 4th incident where you have some crazy white kid either shooting people up or planning on shooting people up. But you dont have anyone in here talking about "oh, white people need morals. white people need to get their act together. that marilyn manson and ozzy osbourne are corrupting the kids!" but when a black kid robs somebody or shoves someone at school the news media is all over hip hop and how its such a bad influence and its question after question on here about "why dont black people have any morals and why dont black people do this and that and why arent black people educated." At least when a black person shoots somebody they do it for a reason, retaliation or something! They dont just grab a gun and start shooting random people because they had a bad day! And I am not saying its right but its funny how whenever a white person shoots a bunch of people its just HIM but when a black person does a crime its BLACK PEOPLE in GENERAL.

I am trying to be a better person & it is working for me, but it seems like people around me are there to test me, and I don't always feel like I am passing. I am the kind of person where "it's all about the principle" & I don't know how to change that.

Ex: I let my daughter's aunt stay in my house for a week, and she lossed my house keys, and I got mad. Her take on it was I have money, and I will replace your debolt, so no worries. I didn't care if she could replace the dead bolt, it made me mad that she basically said she didn't care that she lost my keys because she could replace the dead bolt.

Ex: I told a friend about a close young family member who was born with HIV because this family memeber was going to play with her children, and I know everyone is not educated about it. She acted like she was ok, and then went and told that family member's teacher. I asked why, and she more or less said "oh we were just talking"

My fiance is great my family adores him, we're living together and I don't feel the chemistry I had with him when we first started out, he's always horney when we're in bed but the idea of having it with him turns me off as it's boring and because he's always in the mood for it, I have it with him sometimes but I don't enjoy it, the intimacy is gone when I want cuddles or kisses I have to ask him, and when we do things together... well generally we don't do anything together anymore, I bought a jigsaw puzzle for us to do together and all he could do was whinge how boring it was! he plays his playstation and then whinges because I'm not paying attention to him cause I sit down and do work on my computer because he's not paying attention to me!
not to mention due to his spending habits we're always broke.

What can I say? the relationship is stale
