All biological sources of greenhouse gasses DO NOT contribute to global warming because ALL the carbon in ALL the gasses they emit was RECENTLY taken out of the air. So it is just recycled greenhouse gasses from the air into the body of an animal and back to the air.
This is also the reason that ethanol does not contribute to global warming. Burning ethanol releases just as much CO2 as burning gasoline, but the carbon in the ethanol came from the air when the plants from which it is made grew. In contrast, carbon from burning oil came from underground.
