I'm a 22 year old girl and i have my own house, a good job, and i'm a nice person. The trouble is i live near my family. My mom and dad live on the same block and i have 2 sisters and a brother that live only a few blocks away. They are all constantly fighting and arguing with each other and it's driving me nuts! I always feel like i'm caught in the middle because i seem to be the only level headed one among a bunch of rude hotheads. I'm really tired of it and it's starting to wear me down mentally and physically. I'm thinking about getting away from all of them and relocating to another city. Would i be wrong for doing this? I love my family but i can't take this crap anymore. A co-worker told me that family should always stick together even if they don't get along. I disagree. Can i get some answers on this topic? This is my first time on Yahoo Answers. My friend told me about it so i decided to give it a try. HELLLLLLPPPPP!!

Just thought I'd correct a con who lied.

Seung-Hui Cho bought his guns from TGSCOM Inc and Roanoke Firearms, both licensed dealers. If the court had ordered him to seek mental health on an inpatient basis, he would have been disqualified from buying a gun.

It is all a contest about who is the best looking........and who looks best in a bikini and an evening gown. They do ask one question........but it is never complicated!!! One of the questions I remember was "Who would you choose as a rol model: Nicole Ritchie, Lindsay Lohan, or Paris Hilton" and the girl says "I don't think any of those girls should be role models" and the audience cheered..........Boy what brains that takes!!! What a hard question!!! Boy she knows that those girls are bad role models what a genious........Seriously why cant fat ugly ppl be in these beautfy pagents. Why don't they admit they are just about looks? Who cares if you are good looking? I used to be in a beauty pagent and think it was so great to be beautiful and win crowns but now I seriously think it is retarded!!! I now focus on school work and I think getting a 4.0 on my report card gives me sooooo much more fulfillment than winning a stupid beauty pagent............

For example a 2008 big organizer book,, a banana rack holder, shower radio, knife set,,-- these are more like $3.99.. but if it looks nice, is it ok?
Last year i gave my cousin a nice 2008 organizer and calender from the dollar store, it said $20 on it and looked it..
His wife made a comment to me that she includes the gift reciept with every gift..and i should to.
isnt that rude?
and is it ok to to give gifts from the dollar store with no gift reciept?

Because it is not an official holiday, is your company giving you a 'free' holiday? Were waiting to hear back from head office about ours.

I'm looking for answers from Chrisians here. I am an atheist and I can't seem to understand why you choose to believe that non-historical book and the religious authorities who codify arbitrary moral rules for you to obey. Have you researched your religion? What made you decide that Christianity is right for you? Especially with some of the evidence there is against the Bible's truth (ex: zeitgeistmovie.com).

A Russian couple were walking down the street in Moscow one night, when the man felt a drop hit his nose. "I think it's raining", he said to his wife.
"No, that felt more like snow to me", she replied.

"No, I'm sure it was just rain" he said.

Well, as these things go, they were about to have a major argument about whether it was raining or snowing.

Just then they saw a Communist Party official walking toward them.

"Let's not fight about it", the man said, "Let's ask Comrade Rudolph whether it's officially raining or snowing".

As the official approached, the man said, "Tell us, Comrade Rudolph, is it officially raining or snowing?"

"It's raining, of course", he replied, and walked on.

But the woman insisted: "I know that felt like snow!" to which the man quietly replied:

"Rudolph the Red knows rain, dear".

I keep getting a pain in my chest, it is in between my heart and collar bone on the left side. It feels like a stabbing pain, and is much worse if I take a deep breat/expand my chest.
Although this is not a frequent problem at the moment it does keep happening and is always in the smae place. I am only 21 and otherwise fit and healthy, what could cause this and should I be worried?

I keep noticing that certain people who are trying to defend their belief system always resort to talking in parables, or fables or morality tales which they obviously learnt in sunday school, Venomfangx on youtube is a constant offender,

I found this on another answer thread:

"I remember watching the landing on the moon when I was a child. Scientists were so sure the moon had been around for billions of years that they were concerned about the amount of dust that had accumulated, fearful that the lander would sink into a thick layer of the stuff and be in a heap of trouble. the landings revealed that the surface was so solid and so shallow in dust that even the engines had produced hardly any crater at all. This was in direct opposition to the predictions that had been made, and when viewed with unbiased eyes reveals the theory of evolution to be an impossibility. According to the calculations the lander should have experienced a minimum of fifty feet of fine powder."

A man was at the country club for his weekly round of golf.

He began his round with an eagle on the first hole and a birdie on the second.

On the third hole he had just scored his first ever hole-in-one when his cell phone rang.

It was a doctor notifying him that his wife had just been in a terrible accident and was in critical condition and in the ICU.

The man told the doctor to inform his wife where he was and that the he'd be there as soon as possible.

As he hung up he realized he was leaving what was shaping up to be his best ever round of golf.

He decided to get in a couple of more holes before heading to the hospital.

He ended up playing all eighteen, finishing his round shooting a personal best 61, shattering the club record by five strokes and beating his previous best game by more than 10.

He was jubilant... then he remembered his wife.

Feeling guilty he dashed to the hospital.

He saw the doctor in the corridor and asked about his wife's condition.

The doctor glared at him and shouted, "You went ahead and finished your round of golf didn't you! "I hope you're proud of yourself! While you were out for the past four hours enjoying yourself at the country club your wife has been languishing in the ICU! It's just as well you went ahead and finished that round because it will be more than likely your last!" "For the rest of her life she will require 'round the clock care. And you'll be her care giver!"

The man was feeling so guilty he broke down and sobbed.

The doctor snickered and said, "Just screwing with you. She's dead. What'd you shoot?"

If you were to eat (and successfully swallow) a tablespoon of salt in one go would it cause instant death? If not, any damage? Or how much salt would you need? I heard it gives you a heart attack.

BACK ALONG THAT DUSTY ROAD,
I WALK ALONE THIS TIME...
I CLUTCH THOSE MEMORIES IN MY HEART,
AND ON MY LIPS I HOLD THAT RHYME....

YOU USED TO SAY YOU'D NEVER LEAVE,
YOU'D NEVER WALK AWAY....
BUT WHAT TOOK PLACE THAT MORNING,
WOULD NEVER FORCE YOU TO STAY.

YOU PACKED YOUR BAGS
AND TOOK YOUR BELONGINGS,
BUT NEVER ONCE LOOKED BACK....
I STOOD AND STARRED INTO THE DISTANCE...
AND HOPED YOU WOULD COME BACK.

NOW I TREAD THOSE FAMILIAR PATHS,
ALTHOUGH ALONE I WALK...
I PICTURE YOUR SMILE AT EVERY STEP, I TAKE ALONG THIS ROAD.

I SLOW DOWN PAST THE WATERFALL,
THAT ONE YOU LOVED SO MUCH...
I TAKE A GLANCE INTO THE STREAM,
BUT NEVER DARE TO TOUCH...
THIS PICTURE LOOKS SO PERFECT,
I WISH YOU COULD SEE IT NOW
I WONDER IN MY MIND
THE THINGS YOU WOULD HAVE SAID AND HOW.....

I'M BACK ALONE ON THAT DUSTY ROAD,
THOSE MEMORIES LEFT BEHIND....
TO FLOW AWAY INTO MY PAST
AND TO NEVER TURN BACK THE HANDS OF TIME......!

I know this is going to sound 'woerd' or even 'suspicious' but I have tried almost everything else. My middle daughter (15) have started dating, and I have no problem with that as long as they meet in the Mall or burgerbar(or in our house when we are at home), but he is almost 18 years old. He is a nice boy, but I am so worried that 'something' could happen, so I have said that she can't meet him anymore. Now, she is not your typical rebel, and she is doing well at school, but I do NOT want to get a phonecall from the school nurse telling me she is pregnant. We have had open discussions about almost everything, and she is a very intelligent teenager, but she refuse to exept that she can't see him. I am ready to resort to almost anything to stop her getting pregnant, and I would even spank her, if I know that would stop her from seeing him. I just don't know what to do...
