Can one learn about the structure of something of which one is a small part of the structure and cannot travel far from their home location? If you lived in an apartment but could only look out the windows (and what if every wall of your room does not have a window and you cannot leave the room), how could you tell if you were in the center of a city, town, village or in the middle of "nowhere" or in the "transition region" between the combination of any of the above? You cannot 'make' a window by knocking a hole in the windowless wall...

I need a connection to the structure and our location in the Milky Way Galaxy

I want GH's Carly to be bad again. She's sneaky now. But, it would be SO awesome if she and Sam would team up and tear Jason away from boring Elizabeth!

OLTL: I want Todd and Blair to get back together for real.
Todd needs to get his kid back. I'm so sick of Marcie now.

One of my friends mentioned at the weekend that she never talks to her dog,......!! I thought how sad.

I always talk to my cat, and I think in his own way (!!??) he appreciates it.

What do you think?

For my college freshman science course, we were supposed to do a science project that demonstrated the scientific method.
I used mine to prove the power of prayer. I had two sets of lima bean plants. The first set I prayed for every day and every night, and set them out in the sunlight of God. In order to safeguard the results from any sort of bias, the second set was my control group. I did not pray for them, and kept them 'in the closet', in the dark of sin. The plants I prayed for turned out much greener and healthier, which confirmed my hypothesis.

My professor gave me a D on this, and asked me to turn another project in for a better grade. How is this fair? Isn't it discriminatory and biased to disregard results that don't coincide with your own personal beliefs?

A husband and his wife who have been married twenty years were doing some yard work. The man was working hard cleaning the BBQ grill while his wife was bending over, weeding flowers from the flower bed.

So the man says to his wife, "Your rear end is almost as wide as this grill." She says nothing and ignores the remark.

A little later, the husband takes his measuring tape and measures the grill. Then he goes over to his wife while she is bending over, measures her rear end and gasps, "Geez, it really IS as wide as the grill!" She ignores this remark as well.

Later that night while in bed, her husband starts to feel frisky. The wife calmly responds, "If you think I'm gonna fire up the grill for one little wiener, you are sadly mistaken."

A husband and wife were at a party chatting with some friends when the subject of marriage counseling came up. "Oh, we'll never need that. My husband and I have a great relationship," the wife explained. "He was a communications major in college and I majored in theater arts. He communicates real well and I just act like I'm listening."

How do I deal with a guy who's being mean to me in order to hide the fact that he actually likes me?

This guy I used to like last year has taken an interest in me lately & he seems like he's testing the waters to see if I'm still interested.(it's obvious to me he does really like me)

Usually,he's pretty good with me & tries to make me laugh , but sometimes he says very rude things, esp after he's asked me something which might make me think that he likes me now. He's 17 & I can see he hasn't matured yet.But how do I manage his occasional wrong-doings?(I still have a bit of feelings for him which makes it harder to come up with a good comeback, plus I really don't want to stoop as low as he does at those times)

Thanks all.

Do you really think Ohio St. is going to beat LSU?

Did you really think 0-9 Favre was going to beat Dallas in Dallas?

Sometimes you just gotta face the facts.

Or is chronic pain an understood risk (albeit rare) of the operation and one for which the doctor cannot be held accountable?

I'm not talking about initial pain following the operation, but rather regarding some rare instances where pain (as a result of the surgical change) will manifest several months later and continue without stopping. I haven't received this surgery yet, but it's one I've been researching, and I've found a couple accounts of men who started to experience chronic pain in the area of the surgery months/years after the initial surgery, even though initially there was NO pain reported. I'm just curious about liability for a situation like this.

Thanks.

Its really a Cleaning Business Question but anyone could answer it...
What would you do if a client...
*Asked you to walk up a long steep slippery driveway in the snow with heavy equipment
*Forgets to pay at the end of the cleaning
*They are both home and walk over stuff you just cleaned only to ask you why the floor is dirty later
*They let their dog loose in the house when the rule was to crate it while I'm there
*They want me to do above and beyond...like pick up their dirty clothes, even a bloody rag was on the counter and a TURD in the toilet
*Oh, did I mention cleaning up after a mess they left when the wife was going to have a natural childbirth at home - (sweaty blankets....)

What exactly would you write to them in an email(too mad to call) because I have to do that today - I don't care about the money, I have many clients lined up. I just want to sound tactful without sounding like a prick. I do have a referral for a different company(like they even deserve it!)
