Only the true absurd Packers fans saw this type of a season coming, but the fact of the matter is that if you are not able to have a legit running attack you won't win the big games in the NFL. Look at the rest of the NFC...the Pack have a real shot to make it to the Super Bowl this year, the only truly powerful team, besides them, are the Cowboys.
Now for the only team with any historic success in Ohio....wow this could get really ugly on Jan 7. LSU is going to throttle the Luckeyes. I don't see how THE Ohio State is going to move the ball against that D. Glenn Dorsey gets a month to heal up...he's going to be vicious. This is his stage to jump up the draft board. Jim Tressel gives them their only advantage as a superior coach, but they just don't have the weapons on offense to make a game out of this one, I'm afraid.
So in closing: Both teams will fall short, but the Pack have a better shot at making it close.

Like the fact that any given day, any football team can beat any other one. It's just a matter of how well they play. Or do you really think Kentucky is a better team than LSU or Stanford is a better team than USC?
Everyone said Ohio State would get killed when they played Miami in 2002, but they won. It could happen again this year; Ohio State fans have proof of it happening not too long ago.
And only fools try to pigeon-hole Bret Favre. Just when someone says he can't do something is when he goes out and does it.
If your "facts" matter, why would they bother playing the games?

Oh, for crying out loud!!!!!!!!!
What's your beef with Packer fans?
Never mind what happened in the past. That's over and done with.
So what if Brett went to Texas Stadium and lost again? That was just one game. What happened before that with completely different teams had no bearing on it at all!!!!!!!!

Did anyone think A horrid Pitt team would beat WV?
Did you think Arkansas would beat LSU at LSU's Home field?
Did anyone think Stanford would beat USC?
That's why they play the games. Nothing is guaranteed!

Excellent question, a star for you.
Both are in for rude awakenings, OSU will be outclassed in the BCS Championship game. The Packers will be outcoached (again) in the playoffs. I really don't see GB in the NFC Championship game.
