Justin, a dealer in rare records, acquires a valuable record by the Rolling Stones. He decides to give three of his regular customers, Dan, Frankie, and Ed, the chance to buy the record and writes to each of them telling them of this ‘once in a lifetime chance’. He states in his letter that he is prepared to sell the record for around £100 and asks them to telephone him by 4pm on 25 May if they are interested. The three respond in the following ways.

(i) Dan telephones Justin on 24 May indicating that he wants to buy the record for £80.

(ii) Frankie replies by email early on 25 May, saying ‘I agree to pay £100, as long as you provide a letter confirming the record’s provenance.’

(iii) Ed posts a letter on 24 May indicating that he wants to buy the record for £90 or £20 more than anyone else has offered. The letter is delayed in the post, even though it is correctly addressed, and does not arrive until 26 May.

By the time Justin receives Ed’s letter, he has already sent the record to Frankie with a covering letter saying that he cannot provide a letter of provenance. Justin now wants to recover the book from Frankie and sell the book to Ed for £120.

One day, a blonde was walking down the street when she saw a man and a woman sitting on their front porch. She decides to go ask them if they have any odd jobs that she could do.

"Hello, mister, do you have any work that needs to be done?"

"Why yes, actually, I need my back porch painted." he replies.

So he takes the blonde and gives her the paint and tells her to come and see him when she was done.

When the man re-enters the house, the wife has some suspicions about her, because she is a blonde.

"Everything will be fine," he says.

A half hour later, the blonde comes back in and says she was done.

"Already?"

"Yes, I even had enough time to do two coats." she says

The man says, "how much you do want for the job?"

"50$ will be fine" she says.

"Are you sure? it's a pretty big one."

"Yes, I'm sure."

So he gives her the 50 $ dollars and the blonde starts to leave, but then she turns around and says, "By the way, that's not a Porshe (porch) it's a *

Two homosexual groups plan to launch a national campaign targeting the most influential megachurches and its leaders in an attempt to change their views on gays and lesbians.
Soulforce, which promotes "pro-gay" interpretations of Scripture, and COLAGE are currently recruiting LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) parents and their children along with other supporters for "The American Family Outing" in 2008. Selected families will visit six major megachurches to "educate" the public on the issue of homosexuality.
Before the visits, 40 recruited families are required to attend a weekend of training in Austin, Texas,

Do they plan to omit these scriptures:
2 Pet 2:6-10: Peter also proves that the Sodomites were guilty of homosexuality. He says God condemned them for “licentiousness” and “lust of defiling passion,” which is where we get the title sodomite

My son will be two next month. His pediatrician, whom I am about to switch, says that his speech is slightly behind, due to constant fluid in his ears. I myself, wear two hearing aides due to ear infections, etc. The pediatrician has always seemed to be so lackadaisical about any prevention of hearing problems. I want to do everything I can to prevent it! Now that the doc says his speech is behind and there is a lot of fluid in his ears, I would think there should be some further steps taken beside antibiotics. As I said, the doc doesn’t seem to really care and doesn’t seem to have a genuine concern about my child in general. Am I over reacting?? How many ear infections does it take until my son has hearing loss and someone realizes there may be a problem??

Andy Bathie was asked by two lesbians if he would donate his sperm so that they could have children. That would be, they assured him, the end of his parental duties. Now they have split up and he finds himself in the position of having to pay over 5,000 pounds a year towards their upbringing. One of the lesbians, who is not the children's biological mother, has no legal responsibility towards them. Yet Mr Bathie, who did this as a favour, does have. Is this not yet another flaw in the law?

Also wondering why someone would get a kick out of giving thumbs down? I have even seen it done on personal opinion answers.

Okay first off I'm not anorexic or depressed or anything and I'm not trying to attract attention...just some days I'm really not hungry all day, I'll eat dinner with the family and that's it. Is this normal? I mean I'm a teenager is it just a phase or something? Does anyone else do this?

How will exam performance be impacted if:
(1) Jokes are exchanged between us (friends in the hall)?
(2) We study seriously in the exam hall before the exam?

Do we do exams better if we:
(a) relax and talk about other things in the exam hall?
(b) really get down to revising the chapters in the exam hall?
(c) just sit and wait for the paper?

I feel that being light - hearted and easygoing before the exam helps me a lot. I tried studying in the exam hall and it was a disaster. Though I wasn't disturbed, I forgot what I had studied at home! Is that abnormal?

So, I have a 13 month old who has been attached to me since he was born. It seems like me, Daddy and Grandpa are his favorite people. But yesterday I got home from work and gave him a big hug and kiss hello as always, he gave me a smile and then cried and reached his arms out for the nanny. I was immediately heartbroken. Not only was he not so thrilled to see me, but he didn't even want me at all! He wanted the nanny! I know I should be happy that he loves her, but I'm so sad! I'm Mommy! I'm supposed to be number 1! =(

I've been taking ctyomel, increasing my dosage every 4 days. I am now at 100 mg. I don't feel anything at all. I did a clenbuterol cycle, and I could actually feel my body heat up.

Cytomel is supposed to increase your thyroid function, but how do you know if it's actually working or not?
