I am a nurse. I transferred to a smaller branch of the large hospital I was working at for a year. While orienting to my new surroundings, my mentor and I had a lot of downtime on the night shift. He wanted to watch movies over the internet, but was wary of using the office computers to do so. He suggested I bring in my laptop, which I did. To make a long story short, there were nude pictures of me on my laptop, which were seen by him and another employee. I did not deliberately show them, the other employee found them. When I went back to work 4 days later, the gossip about this incident had gotten out of control and I was fired for unprofessional conduct. Unemployment compensation was also denied.

Many employees bring their laptops to work and many look at or have nude photos.

Was this fair? Should I continue to fight it, or just accept it and let it go? I do have another job now.

When Imus declares that 5-D Cheney is still a war criminal, and Hillary still Satan, I find a little much-deserved sanity. Am I the only one, or are others glad Imus is 'back on?'

Our backyard is open with a line of trees and people walk their dogs or dogs get loose between the houses and have decided to use our backyard / side grassy areas as a convenient toilet. Are there products available (or natural remedies) that don't harm animals (like dogs, cats etc), but that they don't like the smell of, that will keep them off our garden?

It seems to me that the presidential job is a very stressful position, but also very rewarding. I just wonder how much of the lifespan will the position take out of a person.

I have started noticing a tremble in my left hand during parts of the day. I also have a numb felling in my pinky and ring finger on my left hand. My arm feels like it is asleep from the elbow down usually in the morning to mid afternoon, then comes back in the evening. Is this diet related, or could something be serious.

this is a Qs wich i can't solve can you help me??????????
Jo is practising pool on an American 9-ball pool table, where the balls are numbered from 1 to 9. Jo picks a geometric sequence and, if there are balls on the table whose numbers are in that sequence, then Jo pots all of them. Jo keeps picking geometric sequences (and potting the corresponding balls) until all nine balls have been potted.

If Jo is very good, and never misses a shot, what is the least number of geometric sequences that Jo needs to pick in order to clear the table?

My daughter will be 8 weeks old this week and she has been doing this cat napping thing for the last week. She NEVER sleeps longer than 20 minutes at a time. I have been adding it up on a chart I made and she is averaging ONLY 6-7 hours of sleep within a 24 hour period and of course ranging between 5-20 min at a time. My husband and I are so exhausted we cannot see straight! lol Just wondering if anyone has ever had this experience?
