Look up the verb (to) mend and you will find it. It is an alternative to fixed

e.g.

He mended the fence / he fixed the fence

The computer has been mended / The computer has been fixed

If you still can't find it then you dictionaries are rubbish get the Shorter Oxford or a Collins one

Yes - it is the past tense of the verb "to mend", and can also be used as an adjective ("mended fences reduce family stress during the holiday season"!)

Yes it is, past tense. I found it in my Merriam-Webster dictionary (1997) indirectly, where an example was given: "a mended place."

I think it's a word so I checked Dictionary.com, they have it as a word it's just listed under Mend.
