My HP computer has an S Video IN and RCA connections for audio. I presume I should then be able to get some kind of software to access these inputs. I want to connect a vcr using the S Video IN and these RCA jacks.

What software do I need to use that will recognize the video/audio from these connections?

The common application says to write a 250-500 word essay. My essay however is 750 words and I really think that in order to keep the quality of the essay, it has to be that long. Will I be penalized for keeping my essay over the suggested word limit or does it not matter to college admissions people?

Ok I am 21 and I WAS talking to this 35 yr old marrid man... yes I know it was wrong so you dont have to give me the lecture. Well we met at the gym cuz we both play racquetball. We talked on the phone and did some stuff for about 2 weeks until his wife started to find out and started following him everywhere he goes now. Well he told me that he couldn't talk to me anymore b/c he didn't want his wife to find out and everything and so we stopped talking altogether. Well today I went up to the gym to play racquetball and he was up there playing with his friends and I caught him looking at me quite a few times when he thought I was looking away or something. I dont understand what this means or why he would still even look at me???? Do you think he will try to pursue me again in the future?? I am just wondering, thats ALL... im not trying to pursue him. Guys... can you answer this please?

In the light of a previous question with a similar title, I begin. I find wordiness to be frustrating. When someone posts a question in a forum, especially in a forum related to topical discussion and centered around the exchange of questions and answers, it is especially frustrating when their title is followed by a long diatribe that highlights the questionable grasp of the poster of said "quesition" upon the rules and subtleties of the English language. Wordiness, especially of the rambling type to which I am subjecting you, the reader, at this time often serves no purpose except to make the poster of the "question" feel good about themself. "If I did all that typing, I must be making a valid point," seems to be the rationale behind such posts.

Does the fact that Yahoo gives a questioner 1000 characters to work with for a given question make some people feel obligated to use all of them? Also, on the opposite end of the spectrum, why do people ask multiple questions? Do you?

I am a 3.0 student at a Top 10 Undergrad Business school. I am going to go into the military when I graduate as an officer. I wanted to use my education benefits to take part-time classes at a local community college when I graduate to show I can get better grades (I have been working full-time since junior year, part of the reason my grades are low). I have high GMATs, (750ish) I have two internships under my belt.

Does anyone else know of anything I can do that will strengthen my chances of getting into a Top 5-10 graduate school? I am going to apply after I return from active-duty? (approximately 5 years after I graduate).

I am going to get some certifications, (CPA,etc.) I figured that would help. Please let me know. Thank you very much.

I am a 20 year old guy, and I guess I am lost. I do not know exactly were am I going in life. I still live my parents just started school about to finish my first semester of college and got a job. I blew off a whole year on not going to school. I feel old I feel I am to old to be living at home. I want to move out but can not see it. I have dreams and goals. My first few are
Get a job which I did
Save money and pay my bills
Get a personal trainer
Buy new cloth
Get a hair cut
Go on vacation
I was in a rut before, I was in this depressive state were I did not want to do nothing with my life. Now I want to, but I can not see it. Is it wrong? I want to be healtier I want to look good and be on my own. But I been living this life of being lazy and my clothing style sucks and to my self kinda guy.
Going from that to having a job money my own place and standing tall and looking good seems far from realistic for me. So I feel as if there is a future but some sort of force field stopping me

My 14 year old daughter has several mental illnesses. I've been working with her since she was 3 years old. I have done everything in me power to help my sick child. Kayla, has ADD, Bipolar Disorder, Scitzo-Affective Disorder Bipolar Type, Anxirty. Obbsessive Compulsive Disorder, among a couple others. She is out of control and is now headed off to a Treatment Foster Home that will hopefully help her. I fought for the foster home because I came to a huge brick wall. It may seem cruel to do this to my child but I'd Do anything to help her. And since I live in a small town the programs are limited for her and my family. My heartache is extreme and I only hope that this will help her. My baby is in so much pain. I haven't seen her beautiful smile in so long. God please help me!! Help her be able to live a some what normal life some day. Has any parent or other care giver gone through this? Please share your experiences with me. I feel so alone at times. Wondering what to do!!!!!
