I made the slpknot but i'm not sure imade it right, i'm just trying to make a basic chain, but the instructions i have aren't worth a crap.. they're confusing, if anyone knows how to explain them better, or a site to show me how to do it in a very crochet newbie way, that would be great..

We have several cichlids in our tank and one female in particular has been a very successful breeder! Too successful in fact, as we can't keep as many as she's producing. Her babies all come out either yellow like her (she's a yellow lab) or grey with vertical stripes (as is one of the males). Is there any way to tell which of these babies is female or male just by color? Would the yellows be only female? We have another tank and seeing as we can't find a pet store that will take them we want to try and make a "female tank" to prevent over breeding.

I have a baby turtle that is about 2 inches long. I also have another 55 gallon tank with other turtles in it and they are about 5 - 9 inches and there's 7 of them. Can i put the baby in with the other?

My question is,should I write my mother a letter or should I not. It has been quite a few years since I have spoken to her. Im 21 years old and im happily married. Im now a grown woman. My whole life I pretty much grew up without my mom. When I turned 15 years old my father and I were having problems... always arguing.. so i decided i wanted to get to know my mom. I moved from FL to NY. When I moved in with my mom things were going great. She just had remarried this guy that she known for a while. After 2 months after i was living with them things became very sour between her husand and I. He was pretty much a dick. He also made me feel uncomftable in ways he would look at me and touch me like rubbing my butt (very weird) I know! He basically reuined my relationship with my mom. I moved out a lil over a year i was living with them. Ever since I have not spoken to my mom. She pretty much cut my brothers and I out of her life. I found out her address... do you think i should write her?

Those are pretty similar to the ones that I want to make except I want to use a different kind of yarn (something similar to this kind of texture and size (http://www.theyarnco.com/brand_display/251 )

In any case, I have no idea how to start with this project. I was thinking of going out and buying a string of christmas lights (white cord, clear bulb), then finding some clear baubles, trying to wind yarn around those and finally mount those baubles somehow to the string of lights. Anyway, i don't know if there is something I should be looking for or a method of mounting the lights, etc. Any advice would be appreciated.

I am 20 years old and my fiance is 25, we have been ttc for 2 months now *in tww*. We are buying a house (as soon as we find one we like), we both have steady jobs, go to college, and we will have enough money saved up by the time future baby gets here for me to take 3-6 months off work. But people still think I am too young to have a baby. I know I'm ready. I love kids and I can't wait to raise one of my own and my fiance feels the same way. What do you think. All answers appreciated. *except get married first, because we have lived together for almost three years and I don't think a piece of paper will make us better parents,and we are getting married in September) Thanks in advance for your help.

I got assigned an essay on R&J.
prompt says:
Explain the role fate plays in the play. Explain how symbols, images, and repeated ideas are used to point to and explain the role of fate in the play. How are various literary elements used to show us that fate is in control and that Romeo and Juliet are victims of fate?

For my thesis I came up with
1. timing, close calls
2.foreshadowing
3.shakespeare tells us fate is in control

but my teacher wants me to combine 2&3

Any ideas of a new topic? I'm clueless.

We are both 24. He lies alot, even about the stupidest things sometimes...I always forgive him...because I believe that it's not his fault he is this way...he grew up in a broken home that was poor, and since he was a little kid he was surrounded by peers who's parents were extremely rich. He would lie to cover up the fact that he was not as fortunate...and I'm guessing this turned into a habit...one where he doesn't like to be looked down on...we are now both studying our MBAs now, and doing really well. He always talks about how he's going to make so much money and be rich and buy me this and that and our big house and kids and cars...but I'm really scared that money will change someone who's never had money...corrupt him...what if he's only with me b/c he has nothing...but when he's rich, he will cheat on me with the type of girl that used to laugh at him b/c he had no money... and he wants to prove eveyrone wrong? Especially when he has this compulsive lying problem? Help me..!

Religion divide us .....cause war......sufferings........sometime even make you sacrifice people you love deeply ( I laugh and feel pity when i hear someone said he/she is religion X and me am religion Y ..can we marry..will it work....).....The religious books are destroying the society many people refer to do it harm....these books are just a fiasco with lot of inconsistencies.....not to mention it they (religious books) has copy from old civilization (Sumerian)
