Hi. The loudest man made sound is a nuclear blast. The one over Hiroshima was estimated to be about 250 or so Db. The loudest sound in nature was "VOLCANO ERUPTION, TAMBORA INDONESIA,1815" http://www.makeitlouder.com/Decibel%20Level%20Chart.txt

The loudest sound made on earth was the sound of the meteorite that crashed on earth about 65 million years ago and killed off the dinosaurs. Honorable mention goes to the eruption of the volcano "krakatau" in the late 1800s. Apparently the sound circled the earth a few times. [Also worthy of mention are the US H-bomb tests on the Bikini Islands.] The sperm whale apparently makes a sound that is the loudest made by any animal on earth. (It is outside the hearing range of humans though.)

Romantics say that the loudest sound is the breaking of a human heart. New Agers say that the loudest sound is noise of your own thoughts. Sometimes the loudest sound is the sound of silence.

Among sounds heard by humans, the firing of military rifles can reach 150 dB. Sounds this powerful can apparently break bones in the ear, and so I assume would have to be the loudest sounds that we can hear.

Volcano eruptions may be the loudest commonly occurring sounds on Earth, at over 272 dB.
Blue whales mostly emit very loud, highly structured, repetitive low-frequency rumbling sounds that can travel for many miles underwater. These songs may be used for communicating with other blue whales, especially in order to attract and find mates.
The call of the blue whale reaches levels up to 188 decibels. This extraordinarily loud whistle can be heard for hundreds of miles underwater. Theoretical calculations by Roger Payne and Douglas Webb (from the 1970's) predicted that the loudest whale sounds might be transmitted across an entire ocean.

If a sound is not heard then it is not a sound
i think this is incorrect dicession of Scientist

a sound is that which make a resonance in our ears.

and so

a Sound in which we face trouble is the loudest sound on the earth.

If ultrasonic sound is loudest than the man must be deaf becaz it is always running from our birth either by birds: Bat or by mobiles, machines.

The scientis must revised this.

The volcano 'Krakatowa' in the NW Pacific in (the 1880's) I think, which was heard almost half a world away in London. Killed about 65000 people and caused a 'summerless' summer for a couple of years due to ash in atmosphere.
