Depends on many different factors such as age, sex, location, color and type.
Wyverns/European dragons are condsidered the largest (up to 25ft high, and 45-50ft long) and Lungs from China tend to be the smallest (10ft high and 40ft long).
They consider the darker the color, the bigger the dragon (Wyverns=black/emerald, European=green/dark blue, Lungs=sea green or turquoise)

the size of the dragon ranges dependnig on the species, and the legend you are looking at.
i agree that checking out Dragons: a Fantasy Made Real on youtube would be a help, but that doesn't cover the full mythology.
depending on the culture and stories you look at, the size of a dragon can range. The dragon that Beowulf fought was 50 feet long. The dragon Jawzahr from Islamic myth is large enough to swallow the sun and moon whole.
your question is pretty vague, and can have a large range of answers. perhaps if you gave us a particular species you had in mind?

Ragon is right.
why? because searching dragons a fantasy made real on youtube brings up segments that if played in ordor add up to the hole movie and they tell a scientific view of dragons and every thing you chould know.
but if you want straght answers I'd say about 10 to 15 feet I expect the size of a T-rex. I don't truly towering dragons 200 feet tail because that is the size of the small skiline hotels in my area.
