I realize we want to be proper and all that but other than that what was the original purposes of capitalization. Surely we can regonize the beginning of a sentence without capitalizing the first letter unless the writter forgot to puntuate the end of the previous sentence. I also realize that we capitalize letters in other instances. I am sure there is a legitament reason for all capitalization but I just don`t know it. Sucessfull no rules text messaging brought this question to mind.

I overheard my husband and one of his friends talking on the phone. I couldn't hear what my husband's friend was saying, but based on what my husband was saying I could tell how the conversation was going. My husband's friend was talking about some girl he is taking on date or something. Then I heard my husband say "Well tell her you'll pay for dinner and she can pay for the movie". Is it me or is that just plain cheap? Sad thing is, when I met my husband he wasn't financially able to take me anywhere so we rarely went on dates. Three years later that still bothers me, so when I heard him telling his friend that I thought ... what a cheap ***.

His friend is 38 years old, single, no kids, without a woman and he wonders why.

As my divorce already went to court and judgement was already given for child support for my child’s schooling. I choose not to fight for costs for university schooling thinking that at that time my ex-husband may provide the costs for that but seeing what my his is doing right now I don’t think that he would ever provide any support. Would I have to get another lawyer years from now to take him to court again for that or since judgment has been made it is final?
