Male hormones are raging almost out of control at that age. I didn't know that males thought that 18 was some kind of right of passage. All males in societies and cultures have some type of these passages and so it seems probably this sort of thing is inherent or a genetic trait of men.

18 was most likely chosen since it's around the height of men's sexual hormone secretions, so getting laid before that age is more of a need to get laid than some sort of game or macho pride that women would like to chide men about.

Good question...its kinda like oh everyones doing it. I have to have laid a girl before I gradute. Have to be prepaired for later on in life. Get the experience early. I dont know.

I wouldnt mind a guy that wanted to wait.

When the testosterone hits in, close your legs cause there's no stopping some! It's just nature- imagine having your sexual "feelers" poking out of your body, rubbing constantly on your clothing. Woman's are hidden, guys' aren't!

1) Peer pressure from other teens.
2) At 18 you are an adult, at which point your opportunity for youth-sex has vanished.
3) As a teen, hormones are raging wildly.

cuz all of their friends claim to have done it. The funny thing is that many of them claiming to have....havent. I remember one of my good friends in HS used to brag to us all the time how much he was getting it.....then I found out later when I was at a party with his ex that when they finally sealed the deal, she had to help him cuz he wasnt sure what to do and he admitted to her he was actually a virgin. For guys, its a manhood thing....don't know why but it is.

not all do...but alot of times they are under presuure from there peers...and also from girls that find "experienced" guys more appealing...so if that's not your preference ...try looking and rewarding the quiet "nice guy" that's usually overlooked

do not do it until your are married. Then you know the guys actually loves and he wants you for you not to brag to his friends.

Cause all men just think about sex. That's just how god made them. And it doesn't help that this day and age in society guys and gals are growing up much faster.
