I'm sorry if it sounds repititive but I don't know any Black people and curious about what racism means to them on a day-to-day basis. Mostly if you're a Middle-class Black person with an educated background, does that make you less vulnerable?

Simple made up example:
Asia is the biggest content in the world (Smith, 1998). It is the Northern Hemisphere (Smith, 1998).

I don't want to join the sentences coz they are long and complicated, and I don't want to say "according to" coz I've used that plenty of times.

I'm a good looking guy, so I attract people and make friends very easily. The problem is, I usually end up distancing myself from people or vice versa.

What is wrong with me? I keep trying to make new friends, yet I can't open up to anyone and I can't get to know anyone pass the acquaintance level.

Do I need to seek therapy or read some self-help books?

Here are some details about me, please read it, and tell me if I do in fact have a personality problem or not.

1) I'm very sensitive to negative criticisms.
2) I don't like being told what to do, by anyone.
3) Tell me to do something in a rude way and I'll resent you.
4) When acquaintances ignore me when walking pass me or don't greet me when they see me, I'll end up not liking them.
.
.
things like those.

I am doing a research paper for my religion class and thought seeing the time of year it is I could get some help on this question.
I have tried finding information and this.
So far I see no mention anywhere of him celebrating his birthday.
In fact a few books mentioned that First Century Christians did not celebrate birthdays.
Confusing!
Please help

I have this friend.. we used to be best friends, but then near the beginning of November, she started avoiding me. She wouldn't listen to me when I spoke to her, and she'd say rude comments. And I'm telling the absolute truth, I have never done ANYTHING rude to her! I finally asked her today why she was being so mean to me, and she said "To tell you the truth, I just don't like you anymore. You're not doing anything rude to me, I just don't like you anymore. You just get in the way of things" This hurt me so much!!! I'm almost crying. I can't believe she said that to me. I know I'm better off without her, but I can't take it anymore! Do you have any advice?

I'm expecting my first child in a few months. I'm starting to look for child care now. I work about 45 minutes from my home. Do you think it is better to place the child in a center close to my work or home? I live and work in really nice areas so either place will have nice day care centers.

This question is not to insult, but more of a curious view, I noticed many conservative/fundamentalist christians reinforce gender roles and stereotypes and how the man of the house is usually quiet, unfriendly, seems to hold all emotion within and works a very masculine job (builder, woodsman, etc) and the woman/wife is almost always a homemaker or sews for a living.

My question is, how do you feel about:
men who sew and enjoy creative projects typically more associated with women (knitting, crocheting)
male fashion designers, ballet dancers and models
female athletes/wrestlers/boxers and career women
female builders and construction workers
male nurses and female pastors/church leaders

(I'm not bringing sexual orientation into this, so please no gay/lesbian commentary). I just want to see if conservatives/fundamentalists really do reinforce stereotypical gender roles or are they a little more open than they let on?
