I have this friend.. we used to be best friends, but then near the beginning of November, she started avoiding me. She wouldn't listen to me when I spoke to her, and she'd say rude comments. And I'm telling the absolute truth, I have never done ANYTHING rude to her! I finally asked her today why she was being so mean to me, and she said "To tell you the truth, I just don't like you anymore. You're not doing anything rude to me, I just don't like you anymore. You just get in the way of things" This hurt me so much!!! I'm almost crying. I can't believe she said that to me. I know I'm better off without her, but I can't take it anymore! Do you have any advice?

Try to accept that she is a mean person who doesn't care what she says or does to other people and then move on. Soo many times people say move on, but really, it is the most direct and easy way to deal with these kinds of hurts. Her actions may still baffle you in 5 years but they won't hurt you in 5 years. Understand? So, start moving on now so it can be in your past and therefor not bother you so much. I am sure you have other friends and other interests. Concentrate on those things, and your school work!, of course and sweetie, just move on.

Even though it's hard for you to see right now, you are better off without this person in your life. It sounds like it her that has the problem and not you. At least you got the truth and can move on now, without wondering what you did. You did nothing!

If you feel like crying then go ahead and do it. Get it all out of your system and you'll probably feel better after-wards. Then just move on. Pain is a part of life. You'll find true loyal friends eventually.

Yes,I have some advice. It's very simple. Get yourself some friends that won't turn their back on you.

Stop trying to ask the girl what's the matter, just shrug it off.

You deserve better.

xx

all i can say is move on. if that's her attitude then you don't need to be around someone like that.
this girl that used to be my best friend pulled that on me, and it hurt at first but then i realized "it's her loss, not mine" and if that's how she wants to act it's her business. you sound like you're a devoted friend and you'll find another best friend that will be the same to you.
dry your tears babe, it'll get better...and when she finally grows up she'll realize that.

What kind of friend is that?No one just stops liking a person out of no reason. You don't need a friend like that.I can't believe anyone can forsake a long friendship just because "she just dosen't like you anymore".

People are in your life for a season. Her season is up and she is no longer needed. Look inside yourself and see that you are valuable, useful and beautiful. God love's you and will send you people who will be for you in the next journey of your life. Accept that is over and move on....
