She is a yellow labrador retriever and she's about 10 months old. She likes to play bite and stuff. I try to hold her mouth shut when she does it but she just keeps on biting. How can I teach her not to bite? Also, how can you teach her "no". Like if she starts biting, tell her no. How can I do that?

First of all, I'll tell you flat out - I am NOT a science kinda person. I hate science, I hate science fair, and I don't like my science teacher (pointless, but it makes it all that much harder to do this).

The point is, I was looking for a quick, easy, 1-2-3 step project that was so easy, a caveman (or I) could do it. Here are the two projects I narrowed it down to:

1: Testing how the number of letters in a file change the size of the file.
------------ Basically opening Word and saving 1000 letter A's as one file, then as another file saving 2000 letter A's, then as another file saving 3000 letter A's, etc. Then comparing/contrasting the data.

2: Testing if saving an image file in a different format will change the size of the file.
---------- Saving a pic in different formats (like JPEG, TIFF, PNG, etc) and then comparing/contrasting the data.

case in point: i spent several years hating my chemical romance without listening to enough of their music to give them a reasonable judgement, simply because i didnt like the emo scene. it wasnt until my friend brought over a copy of "three cheers for sweet revenge" and i actually listened to it, that i started to wonder why the style assumptions we make about bands are more important then the music. even if im not an emo, cant i listen to MCR and even like some of their songs without being labeled an emo? can i appreciate lynard skynard without being a redneck and instead just a guy that likes what he hears?

and dont pretend you dont do something similar with whatever clique you associate with.

Devin Hester is a great return man but if Deion Sanders only returned punts and kickoffs and did not play on defense he would have alot more tds. I think deion is better. Devin Hester is still awesome though.

I understand where she is coming from but i told her how depressed i am and how i need help. She seems to think that if she has helped me so much then why do i keep doing it. mom and 2girls needing help thats been through tramatic events,been abused by the Dad, auto accident by an drunk driver where the mom barely servived,leaving her disabled,lost their home with everything in it,all property,clothes,furnature,collectibles,memories,etc.Have been wronged mistreated,discriminated against by agenicies,local government with the abusive Dad's actions and alies that helped him abuse and destory them and is still doing so, they been held hostage,with severe feared brainwashed, wrongly and falsely accused for his crimes, even with overwhelming proof and wittness's etc,but so beaten down and feared,hopeless,have yet for anyone to step up and help these women put him in prison,or rebuild there lives,body,minds from there beautiful life,careers,home,etc from what one abusive criminal man has robbed from them. They need to get out of 1room apt (mom&2girls) out of state and lifted up with help to rebuild, disabled cheak barely pays rent and how no cash at all.

I am going for my first pap test in a couple weeks. I am 25 and I know that seems old but my husband and I were abstinent before marriage and I was told (by my doctor) that I did not need one until I became sexually active.

We are talking about starting to try to get pregnant and I am wondering if there are any certain questions I should be asking my doctor before she does the pap? Are there certain things she needs to check for? Can she tell if we will have a hard time conceiving or would I have to see a gynaecologist for that?

They are on his side and mostly on his back. They are "clustered" maybe 6-8. He scratches them and they bleed. I have given him medicated baths, put anti-biotic cream, hydrocortizone cream, which brings some relief but they dont go away. Has anyone had this happen to their dog?
I have changed his dog food thinking it may be an allergy. He comes back in the house like that when he goes out to use the bathroom or just "hang out" in the yard. He doesnt get it from being in the house, only when he comes back in from outside. It isn't ticks or fleas. If they were ticks I would see them would't I and be able to "pull them off"? And fleas, I would be able to see them. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP

i just bought a sony bravia home theater system with an upconverting dvd player, and i also bought a dynex hdmi digital a/v cable and hooked it up. i tried playing a dvd on my hdtv in 720p and 1080i settings and it all looks the same.....did i do something wrong? am i using the right cable, cuz the manual says to use a hdmi dvi in jack??but the guy at best buy said this is the cable i nee....help!!!
