you know . i use to know the answer, I'm a big fan. i think it was to turn into a vampire,
ok i remember now, he is the vampire and he loves this girl very much, but he won't turn her into the vampire , that is what he means, well at least his music video that is what he means.

He won't screw around, he won't move on, he won't forget the way she feels, he won't forgive himself if they don't go all the way, he won't ever do it better than he does with her, he won't stop dreaming of her every night of his life ... a whole bunch of stuff that they sing about, something different in each verse.
I can't forget about the Dr Pepper, either. It's redefined the song for me.

Ever since the commercial with that song in it, I thought he meant he wouldn't drink the other girl's Dr. Pepper. LOL
