to a point i suppose, if its affecting your health and making you uncomfortable, then ya might want to worry about it. but if youre are a overwieght some and your health is good and your comfortable in your skin and happy with yourself, why worry about it? be happy.S.D.

My brother isn't concerned with his weight. He is now closing in on 600 pounds. He refuses to believe that food has taken over his life. There is no joy left and only pain. He is on state assistance and can't even clean up after himself. He is so close to having to be cared for by others. he has given up his life and liberty to food and is scared to change. Very frustrating. He lives in another state by my sister and it is difficult to travel or shop. He has an electric chair but that doesn't fit on just any car, you have to have a chair lift. he doesn't drive, he lives in a 10 by 30 travel trailer in an old folks park-he is 52 years old. He can't even care for a pet.
A or D ? That being said, what do you think my answer to your question is?

Yes I think we should be concerned. Weight has a lot to do with health, being underweight or over overweight could both lead to serious problems. Should we be as obsessed about it as we are "oh my gosh I weigh 5 lbs too much"... NO! Oh and my initials are... KLBM ;)

Speaking as a "girthy" person, I'm comfortable with my weight. Though I'm losing it little by little.
Didn't anybody ever tell you,"Once you have fat,you don't want to go back".
