Devin Hester is a great return man but if Deion Sanders only returned punts and kickoffs and did not play on defense he would have alot more tds. I think deion is better. Devin Hester is still awesome though.

Devin Hester is plainly the best return man the NFL has ever seen. The explosiveness and field vision he displays during returns is down right amazing. Sanders was a threat whenever he held the ball, but I don't think even he had the field presence as a return man that Hester has. If I had a choice on who I'd rather kick to, the answer would be Sanders. Hester is just too dangerous and can win games just with special teams. He proved that Sunday against Denver.

Hester has more return TDs, but Sanders didn't drop a ball or two every week. Deion gets a slight edge in my book, for now, as a return man. Deion was a far, far better overall football player.

Deion Probably would have been amazing. But I guess that points out how one dimensional Hester is. If Sanders focused on only returning, he probably would have dominated. With that said, Hester might be the best one dimensional player ever.

I agree with Prime Time even if he said he was not I think Hester is the Greatest Kick Return Of All Time things he can do is great what round did bears draft Hester sad no one thought he be this good

Hester has 10 returns (not including the super bowl one, and the missed field goal return) in 27 games, Deion has 13....in over 200 games!........that's the answer.

D. Hester ( the kid Deion trained) is the BEST return man to ever play the game...Deion in his return days ain't got nothing on this boy..

gotta go with you on this one.deion was better.but Hester is not thru yet.hopefuly he stays healthy,stays away from the wrong crowd and not get air in that head like deion,he will play well and longer then deion.

hester plays offense...and still helps out with the nickel coverage on defense. devin hester has done as much in 2 years as deion did over his career. thats just mind boggling.
