I'm tiling around a direct vent fireplace. Should I leave an 1/8, 3/16 inch gap or larger for expansion or can I tile right up to the fireplace. The tiles will be on a horizontal plane (hearth).

What do you think of following response. I wanted job review also not only salary hike.
"This have been very hectic for me lately. We do not normally do formal job reviews, but we can sit down and talk soon (probably Friday). As far as a salary increase, we are not giving any raises the remainder of 2007. We need to finalize some year-end financial issues before we make any changes. We will be evaluating salaries the beginning of 2008."

I work in the agricultural industry and have generated YTD sales of around $1M. I make an hourly wage of $20/hour and work 45-50 hours/week. I have medical, dental, 401K.

This company is fairly young and has never had an inside team before. I would like to ask for commission and/or performance bonuses at my review, but am not sure about how to set up a suggested compensation plan.

How do other industries compensate their inside sales teams?

OK, my fiance bought me an engagement ring. Dont get me wrong, it is pretty but it is not the one I wanted. It has the same size diamonds and same total weight but the setting is different. He paid the same amount on the one he bought as the one I wanted. I dont know why he just didnt get me the one I wanted! Again, same size diamonds almost the same setting. I like prong set and he got me channel set, what I said I didnt like, why are men like this? Was he not listening or what?

ok.im a 16 yr old male who likes another girl in my class(diffrent race if it matters)anyway ive known her 4 bout 2 yrs but she never really started tlkin 2 me till this year.out of no where she just started talking to me and flirting.heres everythin she does:she looks at me from across the room occasionaly(we catch each other and look away),tlks/follows me 4 a bit after class,once wrote that she loved me on a peice of paper(might of been a joke though),likes to compete with me(test and grades),once asked me 4 money,whenver i tlk 2 her she smiles and sum other stuff i cant remeber.anyway this girl is BEAUTIFUL!!i mean every guy in skoo is after her.i would grade her a perfect 10!i just find it hard to belive that this super hot and popular girl likes me or would ever want to go out wit me.so do yous think these are signs that she likes me and i should try 2 ask her out?if so how would i ask her out?i want 2 keep it casual. like maybe do somethin after skool or watever.anyway plz help!!

I can't ever see myself loving a child that i did not give birth to. Or a foster child. I have thought of adopting when im older (im 14). But i wouldn't do it, if i'm not sure that I could love the child. Please give me stories if you have them. Thanks
