Nik had told Emily the Ball would be Oct. 31, Halloween but somehow through everything it sped up to Thanksgiving. Yet the Ball tragedy only lasted 12 hours. I don't understand why writers do this.

Yes, the ball started on Halloween. And, amazingly, the day after the ball was Thanksgiving!

I can only guess they called it a killer party because we almost died waiting for it to be over! Poor Emily was on the floor for at least 3 days!
