Soccer Tryouts???

Do you need like equipment, what do you do during the tryouts??

If you want to make a team at tryouts you must bring cleats, shinguards and clothes you can confortably run in. I reccomend soccer socks to look professional (during my soccer career I found that the coaches look for players with past experience so if you dont have these things they may judge you accordingly, all coaches are different). The coach will probably put you into teams and have you play. Unless you have played forward most of you life, I dont reccomend playing forward because most of the time you will stand around waiting for thru balls, outside mid is a good place to try for if your not sure what position to play. Also while your playing, talk to your teammates the entire time (tell them if a man is coming behind them, tell them your position if you're open for a pass, etc.). If someone makes a good shot, make sure you say something like "good shot". Coaches dont tend to pick shy players. Sounds like alot but its all worth it, hope it helps and good luck with your team

you just need kleats, shorts, and a shirt.......all your gonna do ( this is what i did ) umm first your gonna make some teams and the coach will see how you play then your gonna do some sprints...INTENSIVE sprints and thats all pretty much 4 the first day
