They really aren't expensive at all. Purchase price of a trained (and by trained I mean, walks on a lead, can bid RIDDEN-oh yeah) camel is about $4000. WAY less than a horse and tons of people buy horses. Horse people are snobby and anyway my camel would definitely be able to kick **** on a horse. As for smelly..hmmm, that's why you'd need LOTS of land. Spitting?..only at your enemies...I wish I could have a penguin, to be honest, but since they're illegal as pets in the US, camel it shall be.

oh and about it being cold here. Probably some states would be uncomfortable for my camel, but they are raised in the US. Lots of camel farms in TX and TN..TN gets mighty cold.
